Guess You are Wondering...

Guess you are wondering how we keep going, it is because of Jesus. He is Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.

The Lord is our strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

He saves His people, and bless thine inheritance: feed us also, and lift us up for ever, proverb 28:8,9.

When we wait on the Lord he will renew our strength, we shall mount up our wings as eagles; we shall run, and not be weary; and we shall walk, and not faint, Isaiah 40:31.

The Lord is good to them that wait for him, to the person that seeketh him.

It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord, Lamentations 3:25,26.

Let's remember that is in Jesus' name that we can continue to keep on going.

Until we meet again - soon.

Another Day With The Lord

Lord, I have so much to do, but nothing compare to spending time with you.

There are many errons I have to run, without you being with me I won't have any fun.

I  have so many bills to pay, nothing compares to you giving your life, as ransom, on the cross one day.

At the name of Jesus, my heart shout glory. Reading our bible will tell the truth about the biblical story.

In the past I had no rest. Then one day God assured me that our daily trials and challenges are only a test.

Lord, instead of telling you all I had to do, I should have said, "thank you sir because it has been a blessing being with you."

You have invested so much time in us. Being giving another day in the Lord, we will always trust.

Every day is what we make of it. We can choose life or death it is in the power of our tongue. I want to see your glory this my heartfelt song.

His Pain Caused Us To Gain

This is a day that the Lord has made; a day that we have never seen before. Let’s do all we can to rejoice and be glad in it. Giving God the glory and praise that He so richly deserves. Thanking Him for the days in our lives that has come and gone. The day that we are living in, and the days that He has in store for us. He holds our future in his hand. Only God can bless and enrich us in our daily walk with Him, because He alone is God.

Thanking God for the hurt and pain that we have endured, to get us to the point in our life that has wants us to be has made us stronger. He is building and setting us up to be stronger in Him. Only God can do this, because He alone is our King.

Sometimes we wonder why we endure so much, and why each day in our life seem as if it is another challenge: to stand on the word of God or to fall for anything. Some days are better than others, and each day seem harder and harder to live in being a child of the king. This is why  we must ask Brother Jesus to take us to the throne, and to leave us there alone, so that we can talk to God, in the name of Jesus, who laid down His life for us over two thousand years ago.

Things – suffering- that we endure each day is nothing like what Brother Jesus went through, not even close, to fulfill prophesy made by prophets in the Old Testament. To get to the point in his life, where God wanted him to be also, to be able to say, “It Is Finished” Jesus had to endure the cross of agony, shame and pain so that a marvelous life we would gained.

Until we meet again - soon.

The Days Of Our Lives

Sometimes we live our lives as if they are Soap Operas.

These are the Days of our lives and we don't know if they are going to be good or bad.

We are still Searching for Tomorrow in spite of the troubles it brings.

Our Secret Storms are in the challenges we go through each day.

We are older now so we are not Young and Restless.

We have escaped a lot of sickness, because we are not in a General Hospital.

Make Me, Cast Me, Restore Me & Deliver Me

When King David was confronted by Nathan the prophet, after he had gone in to - committed adultery - with -Bath-sheba, Uriah's wife; he said to God,

Psalm 51:1,4,8,10,11,12,14

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou has broken may rejoice.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.

Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

King David, a man after God's own heart learned from his hidden sin, he thought, learned from it and praised God in the middle of it.

We can continue our prayer life by asking God to,

"Take our mind and tranform it. Take our heart and mold it, and take our will and conform it to Your's."

Until we meet again soon.

Your Love and Mercy

Deuteronomy 5:10,16

And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

Honour thy father and thy mother, as the Lord thy God has commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with the, in the land which  the Lord thy God giveth to me.

Your love and mercy has brought us through. We can't imagine living this moment, living it without you.

We are going to give you thanks and praises too.  Your love is so deep for us- without it what can we do?

Love is something no one can ignore. Some of Jesus' miracles were performed on his followers by the sea shore.

What do we owe you for all that you have done for us. It was at Calvary that you gained more than our everlasting trust.

Dying on the cross over two thousand years ago and giving your life, helps us to remember that you bought us with a very high price.

Your love and mercy keep on bringing us through. We can't imagine living this moment, living it without you.

Until we meet again - soon.

Super Man, Our Helper

Psalm 46:1

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

Our helper has gone where, and has done what no man has done before: He lifts us high and hold us low enough under His wings so that nothing can harm us. He carries us though deep and high water, good and bad weather, and over the highest of hills and the lowest valleys.

As the storms in our life rage and the winds boast, we shall not be moved because we are anchored in a Solid Rock, on which we stand. He is our helper, our Super Man; He is our God.

Psalm 33:20

Our soul continue to wait for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.

Let's know that the Lord continues to watch over us, His children, to bless us with every need in our life, because He is a present help in trouble.

Until we meet again - soon.

Lord, I Need Just a Moment Of Your Time

What can I give you Lord for just a few moments? What can I give - just to have you near?

Tell me I don’t have to worry; I don’t even have to cry - because you are always standing by.

I look to you Lord, I look to you - when my strength is gone, and things seem to go wrong, I must look to you - in all I say and do.

What shall I render unto you for all the benefits you have given me, from the word of God, at times, I wanted to flee?

Help me to continue to praise, pray, and stay on my knee. You said in your word, “You will always be within me.”

From the rising of the sun until the going down of the same.  Through fret and fear you are still in my heart and will remain.

This is a wonderful day that you have created and gave. Sometimes I wonder, in my spirit, if I am still saved.

You said, “The thought of foolishness is sin.”  The fearful thought of tomorrow is there any hope for a blessed end?”

Knowing that the word of God is a lamp unto my feet and in my path there will be light, I also, want to know that all my sins are forgiven and out of your sight

Bless me Lord deep down in my soul, because I want to stand on the word of God as your prophets in the days of old.

Knowing you, my Lord, has given me joy and peace, because in your word you said, “You have everlasting love for thee; therefore with lovingkindness you have drawn me, Jeremiah 31:13

God's People are Flying High

God’s people are known to fly high like an eagle and soar like a dove.  We see someone in our spirit, is it God from above?

Our missions and our goals have been put to a test.  We will wait on the Lord and then take our rest.

I asked my Master why we are tested.  His answer was, “Everyone goes through trials and tribulations after they have rested.”

We know that whatever we do for the Lord are the only things that will last.  Earthly things have already failed and perished in the past.

We must wait on the Lord and be of good courage, and He will strengthen our heart.  We should have done this very thing from the start.

In doing God’s work we must mount up our sword – the word of God - and continue our flight.  Waiting and waiting will delay our mission until dawn or midnight.

In accomplishing the task set before us we may endure hardship and pain. It does not matter now, because the love of God we will gain.

The fruits of the spirit are what we need to embrace, because we have the joy of the Holy Ghost to run this race.

Before starting our mission as a daily routine, each day we must give praises to the Lord,
until the Heavenly angles sing.

The mission set before us may seem impossible and very hard to complete. We must look to heaven, and imagine what Jesus went through, to be able to stand at our Master’s feet.

Brother Jesus, Take Us To Our King

Brother Jesus, take us to our King, Lord and Master, we have to so much to bring. All of the world's heartaches, burdens and sorrow, that cannot be held unto tomorrows.

Please, through our prayers and pain, be our advocate, and take our burdens to the King. His everlasting peace we want to gain.

We need to know what our Master and Saviour has in store for us that our eyes have not seen. Besides you, the only one that can help us is our Lord, the King.

We desperately need to reach the King. There are heartaches and pain that no one else can image, the whole world need to be esteem.

A nation full of anguish and pain, a touch from the Master, will hold and help us to retain.

Journeying through this world we walked without our Master, situation after situation was such a disaster.
Please take us to the King.

Brother Jesus, take us to the Lord. There is one more thing we need to give him, ourselves and our family.  Close - He will hold the rest of them.

Brother Jesus, take us to our King.

Covenant Promises for Covenant Keepers

God make Covenant Promises and We are Covenant Keepers.

Hebrew 8:13, says "Old covenants are obsolete - out of use.

God made covenants throughout the old testament, between God and man, of continued life and favour on the condition of being obedient:

1. Between God and Noah - that there should not be another flood.

2.  With Abraham and his decendants and as a nation - throughout the old testament.

3. The new covenat is the spiritual covenant of God in Christ with His followers - mentioned in the
     new testament.

Hebrw 13:20 & 12

We are also followers of God and we don't have to worry about anything as long as we are
obedient and do his will.

In God's Covenant we have: His love- protection - Grace and much more.

This is why we are used by God to: empower, unify and edify people through: preaching and teaching and other services we offer in Fayette County.

A song says," God keeps His promises. It does not matter what the situation look like.  He keep His promises, but we must be strong.

We must be strong, because we are going to have some:

Speculators -Instigators -Agitators - Aggravators - Hesitators and Investigators.

God is going to keep His promises through His covenant and It does not matter what the situation look like.  We must be strong.

Lets continue to honor our covenant with God - until we meet again.

God Is - Jesus The Man

What can we do to restore faith in man?  Preaching  the word at God's command.

If we obey God in a crisis situation rather than man, without a doubt we will be able to stand.

Stand and see God's Glory, but to the unsave, with true meaning it may just be a story.

Say his name once and  more than twice, then Jesus will show up whether we have been naughty or nice.

The three Hebrew boys was thrown in the Fiery furnace, without Jesus they would have turnaged.

Doing what we know to do - and doing the best we can.  Many are now walking to the Master instead

of man.

Come to the Lord just as we are, because He is on the inside and not very far.

Hear our prayers Oh Lord and hear our cry. You are almighty God, we can not deny.

Lean On God, Call On Him and He Won't Let You Fall

My sermon on Sunday, June 24, 2012

Jeremiah 29:10-15

For thus saith the Lord, that after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give an expected end.

The nations around Babylon were being controlled by Nebuchadnezzar, the King. A policy put into effect by his deceased father, the previous king.

God told Jerusalem that after seventy years He would make good of His word and bring them back to their land.

In this day and time there are people that has a controlling spirit, trying to control your house, my house  and the church. This should not be.

God tells us in Jeremiah 33:3 to call on Him and He will answer us, and shew us great and mighty things that we do not know about, in our time of need.

When we stop calling - praying -to the Lord:

 1. There is no counsel - we start doing wrong things in our life.
 2. There is no protection - because we stop praying.
 3. There is no communication line open - so God can not talk with us.

In learning how to lean and depend on Jesus, we found out if we trust him, he would provide.

Don't stop leaning and calling on the Lord until He return for us.

Until we meet again soon.

I Will Never Forget What You Done For Me

Thank you Lord for being so good and being so kind, with all of your Power and Glory you're always on time.

Every time we fall down you pick us up. What an awesome God we serve You are more than enough.

I will never forget what you done for me. When I went through the storm, I praised you, and I was set free.

I will never forget how you brought us out.  You told Satan these are my chosen children and there is no doubt.

I will never forget how you set me free. In all of my short commings my flesh warred against me.

I feel good rejoicing in your goodness and your glory. Once I get to heaven  this will be good news and not a shor story.

Time has ran out for using your name in vain. In reading my bible, all revelation and comprehension I will retain.

"I will never forget what you done for me."

Father Knows Best

My father, a strong and dedicated family man, knew it was his responsibility to take care of his family.  He spent as many hours working daily to earn enough money to meet our financial needs.

He thought it was best that the mother stay in the home and takes care of the needs of the children, and that man’s responsibility was to work outside the home..  This idea was passed down in his family from generation to generation.

I can truly say we never went lacking in food, clothing or shelter. There were some things we wanted but never needed. We always had money to take to school although we did not have to buy lunch.

My father passed when I was 16 years of age and my brother was 17. I remember him now as if it was a few years ago that he passed. No one will ever take the place of my father, Willie Rosser. Born a father, and died a caring and loving man.

The Tongue - A Flaming Fire

When we offend many in the word, reading Proverb 15:1 is a good antidote haven't you heard?

The tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity that no human will love or desire.

But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison, who can we blame?

Out of the same mouth proceedeth a blessing and a curse.  My brethren, these things out not to be or they will get worse.

If we have bitter envying and strife in our heart, glory not and lie not from the start.

Therewith we bless our Father, and even God : and therewith we curse men which are made in His image isn't this odd?

Who is a wise man and endued with acknowledge among you? Let him have decent conversations with his words being true.

The Tongue - A Flaming Fire.

Showing Compassion

Leviticus 19:11-17

Tell us not to offend our brother in any way, but to show compassion. Similiar to the laws of the Ten Commandments.

Do not steal, lie, deceive one another, swear falsely by His name etc.

The Lord is the only one who is just and fair in showing love and true judgement at the same time.

Loving our neighbor as ourself has been called the Golden Rule and offers the last rule of maintaining holiness in our actions toward others.

We are also warned not to mistreat strangers because we were once pilgrams in a foreign country.

Let's continue to show compassion to our neighbor - until we meet again soon.

The Rich Heart Of A Poor Man

A Good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and something gold - is this full of wishes?

The rich and poor meet together: the Lord is the maker of them all now and forever.

By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life. Give God your all and don't hesitate
or have strife.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it, as we know.

The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrow is servant to the lender, when does honesty help us to surrender?

He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor, is this a test?

Foolishness is bound in the hear of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. This makes him obedient to the oldest of them.

Being Just and Fair

Exodus 23:1-2

Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not the thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:

In witnessing anything don't spread lies about the situation, just tell the truth and nothing but the truth.
When we accompany others we should not let our conversation waver, but be truthful, eventhough we are with a crowd known to, and desire is to spread evil words, showing favortism.

Exodue 23:7-8

Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not:  for I will  not justify the wicked.

And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.

When a person is innocent don't entertain a lie about them, knowing the truth. Your words can  be dedtramental, because life and death are in the power of our tongue.

Many times precious gifts will keep people from telling the truth about a matter.

Let's continue to be just and fair in all situations.

Until we meet again - soon.

Looking For Life's Direction

John 14:6

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Jesus is telling us today that he is the only way we can get into our Heavenly Father's Kingdom.

Trying to get to God any other way is as a theif trying to still salvation.  Dying on the cross for our sins

made Jesus the open door to our father's Kingdom - house.

John 14:5-7

Thomas siath unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If ye had know me, you should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have

seen him.

Many times in moments of despire we ask the Lord, Where are you or where were you when trouble hit?"

God tells us every day that He is our Safety Net when trouble hit. He is that open door to eternal life.

If we know Jesus we have also known our Lord and saviour, who is one in the same.  Jesus is, as we say,

the spiting image of God.

In looking for Life's Direction - look for the open door to eternal life - this is where Jesus is.

Until we meet again - soon

We Come A Long Way Baby

We have come this far by faith. We are lending and depending on the Lord, doing what ever it will take.

We can see how far God has brought us from. Knowing others wanted to be kept by Him more than some.

He brought us out of trouble and into the power of His might. Living in iniquity He could have put us out of His sight.

When we loose our since of direction, you will hold us in your loving arms with your utmost protection.

When we are lonely and very sad. You will send your spirit to give us joy with a promise of making us glad.

In  looking  back over our life we can not image why you love us so.  It was on the cross that you never said no.

We must be stronger in God's word - because some of the Biblical scriptures and principles we have never heard.

Now is the time to seek Christ as never before - because in our life He is the only one who can open the door.

I have found that Jesus always shows us his love. He does all things with the help of God from above.

We must love Him with all our heart, mind, and might. He is Alpha and Omega because in purchasing our souls, He had to fight.

We Come A Long Way Baby.

Everlasting Life Through Christ

John 11:25

Jesus said unto her, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live."

At our time of departure from this world, from our earthly body, we - our spirit - will enter a new place to be with the Lord.

The same way Jesus rose, and later went back to his heavenly father, is the same way we will be resurrected spiritually and be with our heavely father forever also.

John 11: 17

Then when Jesus came, he found that he-Lazarus- had lain in the the grave four days already.

Lazarus was dead for four days before Jesus raise him by performing a  miracle of "Life over death,  or Eternal and everlasting life through Christ."

The life we live today determines whether we will live eternally with our Lord or not.

Lets continue to live our life through Christ - until we meet again soon.

The Sweet Taste Of Bitterness

It is naught, it is naught, saith the buyer: but then he is gone his way, then he boasteth, is he a liar.

Bread of deceit is sweet to a man: but afterwards  his mouth shall be filled with gravel - or is it sand?

Whoso  curseth his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness, is this like no other.

An inheritance may be gotten hastily at the beginning; but it shall not be blessed at the ending.

Mercy and truth preserve the King: and his throne is upholden by mercy - as we have seen.

The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward belly parts.

The glory of young men is their strength: and the beauty of old men is the gray hair, not a tent.

A Woman Born To Be A Mother

My relationship with my mother began many years ago, during the nine months she carried me.

My mother, like many mothers, took care of and nurtured me as a child. During my adolescent years I realized that my mother was a strong, firm and caring woman. She never showed many negative emotions such as nervousness, short tempered, or yelled at me when she was upset.  Her voice was as strong as she was firm. She was the center of our household.  She saw to it that her children were dressed on time each morning for school.  She made sure we had enough lunch money during the week.  When we arrived home each evening from school she always had dinner cooking.  I attended Rossville Elementary school, located  in the city of Rossville.

During my teenage years I went to Fayette Ware High School located in Somerville, TN.  Somerville is the County seat for all the small surrounding cities located in Fayette County.  My mother was there for me during these years also. She always counselled me on finishing school. She believed her children should have a good education. She also believed and had faith that I would finish.Telling me my education would be very important to me in the coming years.

Because my mother was a strong, firm and caring woman, I always did what she said. I never questioned her statements, whether she was right or wrong. She made many decisions for her children during our adolescent years.  I was always a nice, quiet, and easy going child during my adolescent years. Eventhough, my characteristics were opposite of my mother's, she could always tell when I was upset about something.  She would listen, and then talk to me about the problems in my life.

The problems that concerned me the most never did have a big impact on her. I guest because she had been there, done that and had moved on.  She had a way of making my big problems seem very small.  When she finished talking to me, she would show her love by touching me and giving me a smile.

My mother was not able to finish school because she was raised on a farm, and had to help her parents with daily chores.  She could not read very well but she would always see to it that I had a tutor that would help me with my homework.  After I graduated from High school in the summer, May 1973, my mother allowed me to make the decision on whether to go to college or not.

I entered Shelby State Community College, a two year college, during the fall, September 1973. In 1977 I had my first and only child, Shona Rosser.

As I look back over my life I realize my mother was my best friend. She had to be strong and firm because she had to finish raising eight children after my father died.  She had to be caring as most mothers are, in order for her children to confide in her and disclose our heart felt secrets.  Now  that I am a mother and grandmother I realize all the different aspects and phases of life a mother has to go through to raise children. Being a friend indeed, a mother when we were in need, and someone who will intercede when  we are in trouble.  Eventhough our educational background is different, our values and beliefs are the same because she instilled them in me. I also believe in my child's and grandchildren education, and that it will be very important to them in the coming years.

No one will ever take the place of my mother, Vergie B. Rosser. Born a mother, and died as our friend on January 16, 1976.

Preaching With Authority

We must preach the word like a butter fly and teach the power of it as to be. How God interacts with this - many may never see.

The power of the gospel is so compelling to the lost, lost soul. Can we afford to loose one person only heaven knows?

We must first study to show ourselves approved of God. This may be the begining of teaching but by meditating it will not be very hard.

Be ready in and out of season to teach His word. Many people have passed on and have never heard.

Trust in the Lord and He will give us what to say.  There will be no surprises if we always strat to pray.

He will always be with us when we need Him the most - because in reaching lost souls - we can not boast.

We can say this about the word, "It has inspired both men and women to search the scriptures instead of preaching what we only heard."

Only the things we do for Chirst will last.  Through deep meditation - learning the scriptures will be a blast.

Looking For Jesus

John 6:22 & 24

The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;

When the people therefore saw that Jesus was not there, neither his disciples they also took shipping, and came to Capernaum, seeking for Jesus.

**Many times people look for others for different reasons: Some look to help. Others look to be helped and there are some that give up when seeking seem to be a task.

After the multitude saw the miracles that Jesus had done, also feeding them with two fishes and five loaves of bread. The crowd wanted him to be their king. They did not know that his time had not come, or his mission to be crucified and rise again had to take place.

Why do we seek Jesus?

Because Jesus died for you and me on the cross on Cavalry.

Looking for Jesus is not a hard task. He is the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit all in one, dwelling on the inside of us.

Let's continue to look for Jesus until we meet again - soon.

Living Under Pressure - Depression

Job 3:1-26

After God let the hedge down and allowed Satan to attack Job, his family and his possessions, God restored to Job more than he had in the beginning. Boils were on his body, his children and possessions were destroyed. His wife, supposingly his better half, told him to curse God and die.

Looking closely at Job in chapter 3, we see him as going through a state of depression.  He cursed everything: the day he was born and so on.  He never curse God. He was a man of integrity and loved God, His maker and Creator.

Job said of God, "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him."

"Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble."

How do we act, react and interact with other while we are under pressure?

Romans 12:2, Tells us about renewing our mind.
Romans 8:7 says, " A carnal mind is enmity against God."
Isaiah 26:3 says,  "If we keep our mind stayed on God, he will keep us in perfect peace."

Philippians 4:8, Tells us to think on good things to renew our minds.

Let's continue to transform our minds to heavenly things- until we meet again soon.

Who Comes First

John 9:1-2

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

***Jesus always put our needs before his own, as his life, death and resurrection. He lived, died and rose again so that we may have life, and have it more abundantly.

***He always healed others and performed miracles on the Sabbath day so that a blind man might receive his sight, disregarding the Jewish law. In healing this man God got the glory. Neither sinned this man or his parents.

***Jesus journey and travel on earth always bore record of God, his father.  In life our journey and travel should always reflect on what God would have us to do first in life, putting first things first.

***Sometimes others want us to put them first instead of putting God first in our life.  God says, He is a jealous God and no one should come before Him.

Let's continue to remember that God always come first.

Until we meet again - soon.

The Lord Is Standing By

(From The Minister's Heart)

Father, Father stand by me, O-h stand, stand by me, when the wind is high and the storms are raging, stand by us.

When the night hours has come, just before the break of day,  and we can't find my way; stand by us.

When we don't know the way and can't see the light, and things seem very deem and gray. All we can say is, "Please stand by us."

When trouble come upon us like a flood, and we fall down and can't get up - we need you to stand by us.

Sometimes situations seems hard than they actually are. Our mind goes back to how things should have been. We are asking you to, "Please stand by us."

Sometimes our struggle seem so hard to bear. We want to know that you are always there. Stand by us.

Are we greater than our struggle that feels like a war and a big force and a tuggle? We are no longer wondering. We know that you are standing by us.

Master, Can You Use Me?

Sermon I brought forth on April 22, 2012

John 14: 12-18

vs. 12, key verse says:

Verily, verily, I say unto  you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also: and greater works than these shall he do: because I go unto my Father.

For many years we have given our lives to our job and other things. Now it is time to give our life to God -so He can use us to help others. Jesus went around preaching and teaching the word of God. Healing the sick and raising the dead.

God tells us:

1. The harvest is right-but the laborers are few, according to Luke 10:2.  Also to go into the vineyard and work and He will pay us what we are due.

2. He also tells us to go into the hedges and highways and beckon them to come so that His house may be  filled; Luke 14:23.

3.  He says, "The poor-those in need- are going to be with us always. Saying, "Come unto Him all us that labour and are heavy laden, and He will give rest- unto our soul."

ONLY THE THINGS WE DO FOR CHRIST WILL LAST.

The work that God has called us to do may not be easy, but it must be done.

1. Some people may not want to hear us. Some may tells us, "It is not our business." Some may want to curse us out.

2. We must be led by the Holy Spirit to plant a see - the word of God - in their life. Someone else will water it and God will give the increase.

John 14: 13-18 says:

God will give us everything we need for His journey, if we just ask in His name. The Holy Spirit will be with us, talk to us and work through us when we do His work.

God knows without Him, we can do nothing; but through Him, we are more than conquerors.

Yes, God can use us, every day of our life.

Until we meet again - soon.

God Is A Spirit To Worship

God is a spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. This is done starting from our youth.

Worship is an important part of our day and so is praise. When we continue to do this our blessings overflow and we will be amazed.

The time has come when praise is not a thing of the past, but something pleasing to God that will last.

David praised God with his Holy dance. Do this and we will receive grace from God in advance.

He is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and end. On the cross He bore all of our sin.

He took all our cares and bore the shame. He overcame the victory when we were to blame.

In the middle of our problems give Him the praise. He will never leave or forsake us. This is what the bible says.

God has loved us with an everlasting love. This is not from earth but from our Father above.

From sun set to sun down God is too close for us to worry and fear, because He can be found.

Pray to Him in the morning, praise Him at noon. Worshipping  him in the middle of the night is never too soon.

Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord, God almighty. Keep on worshipping Him and Shaconah Glory we will see.

God is a Spirit to Worship.

Restoring Our Temple

John 2:13-17

And the Jew's passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to  Jerusalem.

And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changer's money, and overthrew the tables;

And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.

And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

*** Today's lesson let us know we should not  use the House of God -our father's house - for any other reason than intented: A house of prayer, praise and worship.

There are many commercial market places to be used to sell merchandise, instead of using our Father's home- His resting place.

Even though the Israelites met God in the mountains for worship; the Temple -  our church - is a spiritual place we meet Him now for prayer, praise and worship.

Let's learn also to keep our bodily temple restored - our mind, soul and body- guarded from the things of this perverse generation.

Until we meet again - soon.

You alone, are God

(From The Minister's Heart)

You alone, are God. Thank you Lord for saving a sinner like me.  You brought me out of darkness years ago, by turning on your marvelous light in my life, and now I can see.

Out of all the things we go through today, your grace and mercy keep on bringing us out.  We know that,
"You alone, are God."

Only on you I can depend, when all I have had is short comings and there is no end.

I want to give you the Glory and the praise for the rest of my life, some were troubled days. "You alone, are God.

Bless your name, our Holy Saviour. Today and tomorrow all we can see is bountiful favours. You alone, are God.

When the journey we travel seem so long and we are overcome with fear , let us know that you are always near.

Help us to get it right, because there is no other but Jesus, the Christ. You alone, are God.

You, only You alone, are God.

A Risen Body

John 20:3-10

Before the crucifixion of Jesus, he had told his disciples that he was going to be crucified and he would be risen from the dead. Out all of the suffering that Jesus went through before crucifixion; it seemed impossible for his disciples to see the spiritual side of the situation.

They went to the sepulchre - tomb- looking for his body. To their amazement no body was there. They did  not understand that he would be risen."

The Holy Spirit resides in all born again believers. When a flood rises up against us, that same spirt rises up to protect, keep and save us from the seen and unseen danger.

The risen Christ is inside of us today. Let him show up, show out and continue to be our guide.

Until we meet again - soon.

Look Where He Brought Us From

What matters the most to us today?  Is it things that we can not have, problems that we can not solve, or

is it knowing that we are blessed to be among the living?

It is very good sometimes to just sit and think about how far the Lord have brought us from.  He brought us

out of darkness into the marvelous light.

No one knew the trouble we saw, no none knew our sorrow.  People just did not know, the times that we

were smiling, to us, seemed to be one of the worst days of our life.

Can we only dream of being more happier than we ever image, or is this just a fantacy.

When we look around and see people, things and time changing every day, this makes me want to be

closer to the Lord.  Every day I want to show Him my love.

It is very good sometimes to just sit and think how far the Lord have brought us from. He predestined us to

be here today, before we were in our mother's womb. His will was to protect, provide and be an eternal

father to us.  I realize that every day is a day of thanksgiving.

Oh how good it is to just sit and think about  how far the Lord have brought us from.

Jesus Dropped The Charges In Our Life

John 18:28

Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early: and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover;

John 33-37

Jesus was marched from judgment hall, to judgment hall. None could legally pronounce a death sentence on him.
After turning him over to Pilate, He asked Jesus many questions to find out why accusations were made against him. He found no fault in him.

Today, if we were charged with a matter, would a judge be able to say, "I find no fault in this person. The case is dismissed.

Out of all accusations made against us in our life time, Jesus has dropped the charges and said, "Case dismissed.

Lets continue to let Jesus bear our charges on the cross.

Until we meet again - soon.

Looking Through The Fog

I am looking through Foggy glasses and I can not get a world's view.  I am trying to see things better, what can I do.

Being swept aside and left all alone.  Today I have paid my debt to society and I can come home.

I have paid my debt to society and all that I have hurted. I want to feel relief without being exerted.

I have been in bondage so long that I can not remember the day, that I lived a good life in society the Godly way.

I was caught up in sin and could not find my way out. I prayed and prayed to the Lord with out fear or doubt.

Getting back into society I must learn over again.  The person I can call on is my Lord, God in whom I can depend.

Keeping Silent

Can we keep silent when our heart has been broken, can we keep silent when there is so much pain?

Can we keep silent - when there is really nothing to gain?

The world around us says, "Take the good with the bad." How can we keep on standing when our heart is so sad?

Weeping endure for the night and joy is in the next day. Can we hold out any longer - when our strength seem so far away?

Where can we go to be free from sadness, where can we go to be free from the pain?

In the word of God, we must have the faith to maintain.

God ask, "Why do you worry, why do you cry? When you call on the name of Jesus I am always standing by.

Lean on me when you'll in trouble, lean on me when you'll about to fall.  When I came down from heaven I lifted up you all.

I am reaching out to give you health and strength, what I need you to do is say, "You are sorry before you repent."

 Can We Keep Silent?

A Newness Of Life

John 3:16,17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him"

**The only way that we could have a newness of life is by the shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ. He hung, bleed and died on Calvary just for you and me.

**Jesus was hung up on the cross for our hang ups in sin. Oh what a miraculous day it was for one human to stand in for other humans - so that we could  have life and have it more abundantly. We are not worthy of his crucifixion, but because of his love, mercy and grace for us God sent His only son to give his life for ours.

Lets continue to walk in the newness of life through Jesus Christ.

Until we meet again - soon.

God Knows The Way

Today, I know that the sweet Lord will make a way. There is so much sickness, sorrow and pain. In the world do we have anything to gain?

I asked our Master why are we tested. His answer was, "Everyone goes through trials and tribulations after they have rested."

I don't know why life is not like it use to be. Jesus said, "You will be blessed if you come and follow me."

On this daily journey I can only do my best. If I fall down on my knees will I have any rest?

It's a long journey and the river is flowing upstream. I called out to my Master with no self esteem.

I want to know you better, I want to know your glory. Is there any hope in a biblical story?

Talk to me and walk with me. Tell me what you want me to do. I want to get to the place when I can really trust you.

I am not questioning your will or your way.  Tell me in a soft voice, since I have come so far, I am ok.

Increase my faith and increase my strength. Help me to hold on to your Heavenly hands, until I repent.

God Reveals His Will To Us

·
     (From The Minister's Heart)

G    God reveals His utmost will/desire to us by telling us what He want us to do. I am learning that if I keep my mind stayed on Him through it all, and travel as the March wind in my calling He will carry me through His storms.

The problems/cares I cast on Him is His to handle. I am leaving all consequences to Him so that He can do what He does best and that is "Taking Care Of Me/Us.

A Made Up Mind

(Sermon I brought on Sunday, March 18, 12)

Psalm 51:1-14,17

A song from David, son of Jessee and King of Israel, to God after he sinned with Bathsheba.

He asked God to have mercy on him and wash him thoroughly from his sins because they were many. He knew that God was the only one he had sinned against.

David's explanation to God was that he was born in sin and shaped in iniquity. When God washes and clean us up in His blood we will not do those things that we use to do.

There is no justification for premeditated and continual sin; but God is just and faithful to forgive us from all our trespasses, if we just ask Him. David realized he needed a clean heart and a right spirit within in order to be in God's will.

Let's continue to have a Made Up Mind to serve the Lord.

Until we meet again - soon.

Just A Few Moments

(Thought: A Few Moments)

What can I give you Lord for just a few moments? What can I give - just to have you near?

Tell me I don’t have to worry; I don’t even have to fret - because you are always here.

I look to you Lord, I look to you - when my strength is gone, and things seem to go wrong, I must look to you - in all I say and do.

What shall I render unto you Lord for all the benefits you have given me, for at times from the word of God I wanted to flee?

Help me to continue to pray, bow and stay on my knee. You said in your word, “You will always be with me.”

From the rising of the sun unto it’s going down.  Through fret and fear you are still in my heart to be found.

This is a wonderful day that you have created and gave. Sometimes I wonder in my spirit if I am still saved.

You said, “The thought of foolishness is sin.  The fearful thought of tomorrow is there any hope for a blessed end?”

Bless me Lord deep down in my soul, because I want to stand on the word of God as your prophets in the days of old.

Just a few moments Lord, just a few moments to have you near.

Built Up In Prayer

(Bible Class taught by me, 3-14-12)

II Chronicles 11-22

(Solomon, the wisest man during and before his life time. Only asked for wisdom to lead his people).

After Solomon finished building the Lord's house, and then his', the Lord appeared to him in a dream.
Telling him He had chosen that place to worship in. God said, "He could shut up heaven or command diseases to cover the land." The only requirement He had of us, the people is to:

Humble ourselves and pray, seek His face, and turn from our wicked says: then He will hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal the land.

God has chosen and sanctified our churches, so that His name will be with us for ever, as His Holy Spirit is.

The Pastor of a church, God says, " Must do what God ask; obey His statues and judgments, then the his children down through the generations will be blessed."

If we turn to worship other gods, then God will cast the church out of His sight. It will not be blessed; it will be cursed. God says, "He is a jealous God and we shall have no other gods before, or besides Him;" Deuteronomy 5:7.

**HUMBLING OURSELVES THROUGH PRAYER IS THE BEST WAY TO HAVE OPEN COMMUNICATION AND KEEP IN CONTACT WITH HIS WILL AND WAYS.

Let's continue to be built up in prayer - until we meet again soon.

A Troubled Heart/Matters Of The Heart

Sermon delivered by me, Sunday, 3-11-12

John 14:1-5

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

God tells us  not to worry about anything because He has our back. He will take care of us.  Why do we worry so much?  He tells us that when we have ran this race, not for ought or nought we will win a crown.  Our reward is: He will  take us to that mansion with many rooms that he has prepared for us. When he returns from heaven he will take us there. Whats in your heart, what are the matters of our heart?  Do we have the love, joy and peace for our fellow man that we should?

Who do we fellowship with, who is in our inner circle?  Do the three that is in our inner circle have the fruits of the spirit?  Is one of them for the Father, one for the son and one for the Holy Spirit? When they come to our door to fellowship with us, what do they bring to our table? Do they cuss and fuss telling us to do what is wrong, or do they have the characteristics of love, joy and peace of the Holy Spirit?

Jesus had three in his inner circle: Peter, James and John. James and John were the sons of Zebedees. One wanted to sit on the right and the other on his left side. They did not understand what they were asking of Jesus. They could not spiritually or rightfully at that time hold the position they asked Jesus for.

Peter, whom Jesus made fisherman of men, always got into trouble by having a high temper and forward mouth. In our inner circle we should have people who love and are willing to help us, not curse us.

When Jesus makes us a promise he will keep it. God says, "before one tilt of His word fails, heaven and earth will pass away. There are two sides to every situation. The other side is that He tells us to keep His commandments so that we and our children will be blessed coming in and going out.

God break every yoke in this Church, in Jesus name.

Jesus, the Prince Of Peace

When problems arises in our life we can call on the Prince of Peace. In our situation He will never cease.

We can say peace be still, because it is in the Almighty's will.

Peace He left with us, because in Him we put all of our trust.

The peace of God passes all our understanding, when we have reached out of self and is soo demanding.

Peace is what we need and the joy of the Lord to suceed.

Follow after peace with all men. During this the rest of our life we will surely win.

Peace is just a five letter word, that many men and women say they never used or heard.

Jesus, the Prince of Peace.

The Lost Of Loved Ones

I know this was, and has been a sensitive subject and I treated it as one. God has put it in my heart to revisit it for the sake of my family, friends and others who loved them dearly. ( revisit of post 3-1-2011)

A LOVE ONE IS ALWAYS MISSED AND KEPT IN OUR HEART.

Family and friends – we know that everyone grieves in their own way. Many times others are crying inside.  Many times others do all they can to survive. Whatever our situation is it is time to talk to God about it. If we need a human to talk to, the bible tells us to communicate with those who teach us as: our Pastor or Church counselor.

** I lost my brother in 2003 and my sister around this time two years ago. Each death took a great toll on my life. My pastor counseled me so that I could make it through each day. The counseling then, after my sister's death, lasted about one week. After my brother's death in 2003 it seemed as though I would not make it through. God gave my pastor and wife wisdom and knowledge to help me through each time. You see with my brother's death the first link in the chain of siblings was broken - this is why I took his death much harder.

** Christians, God has established his church with others to help us. I will say it like, I think, Paul would, “I urge you to get counseling if you need it."  Never be ashram of it. This is something we need to bring us from our past hurts and pains to the marvelous light.

A well known TV pastor said, "WE MAY NEVER GET OVER IT, BUT WE CAN GET THROUGH IT"

Paul said it best, "For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens," II Corinthians 5:1

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord, II Corinthians 5:8.

Let’s remember that, “A love one may leave us outwardly but they are always with us inwardly.”

Until we meet again-soon.

Wisdom Is A Principal Thing

Proverb 4:7,8

Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her.

**Godly wisdom is the principal thing; hold onto it. Those who use wisdom to its fullest will find life in its fullest. She will promote you in every area of your life.

God formed man, heaven and earth through His almighty and everlasting wisdom.
Wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy, according to James 3:17.

**Wisdom has all characteristics that the fruits of the Spirit has. It is considerate, have love, and is undefiled.
It is full of mercy and grace as God is.

Out of all of our getting from wisdom, lets continue to get an understanding through it.

Until we meet again - soon.

Starting Our Day

When I rise each morning this is what I do. I talk to the Lord praying for me and you.

He loves for us to speak to him, telling our problems to the almighty is right, rather than to them.

The time is right and the time has come for  me to start the day. I  have many errands so I must run, so I must pray.

I like to listen to the radio, and I love reading word. Something I have never done, only heard.

To start my day I must  boil my tea. It takes only a few minutes, and  as simple as 1, 2, 3.

Add a little sugar and lemon too. Praying over our food is what we should do.

Starting our day.

In The Heat Of The Night

(From The Minister's Heart)

Many times it seem as though every day hold  many challenges and problems for us to deal with, so many that the days seems endless and the  nights seem too long and full of sadness.  We twist, we turn, we sit up, we lay back down, then we ask Jesus to help and to stand by us as we go through the day.

Sometimes our days seems as dark as our nights. There appears to be no light anywhere in sight. Our mind become so troubled and confused.  We began to use our feelings instead of our faith.  It does not matter how real the problem is, our faith in God will make the problem smaller than it appears. Using our feelings always magnify the situation to the extent that our faith in God can not prevail.

God has all hearing ears, and sees everything that happens to us. He says, "He is waiting to hear from us, to hear our every cry, and He feels our mourns for help".

Psalm 34:15, 17, 18 David said,

The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

The righteous cry,and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart: and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Let's remember that In The Heat Of The Night Jesus will stand by us.

Bless His Holy Name

(Sermon I brought, Sunday, February 19, 12)

Psalm 103:1, 2-13

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his Holy name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

David went into a deep meditation praising the Lord and thanking Him for all He had done for him.

Not forgetting the undeserved benefits he had in life. One of which was being a King.

He asked in Psalm 116:12, What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits toward me? The
answer is we owe Him to much to fail Him now for dying on Calvary.

Having the Fruits of His Spirit shows our love towards Him: Love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.

God have mercy on us because He knows sometime we are right, then sometimes we are wrong but through it all He can turn evil things around for our good.

We owe Him to much to fail Him now.  We can not afford to turn back now. because of this sometimes we may have to walk alone.

Let's continue to bless the Lord at all times.

Until we meet again - soon.

The Power Of God's Love

THOUGHT:  God Got The Power

Love is a strong attraction that we have for someone or something.

We, as humans, were created to love. The bible says, "God is love." Out of all of His creations He created us in him image because he loved us so very much. He want to walk with us; talk with us, and to give us things we never had. The greatest thing He gave us was His life for our's when He died on the cross for our sins.

When we are lonely and miss someone we love we think, "Out of sight, out of mind. Absence makes the heart grow funder." This is not true concerning God's love. His love is always with us because He said, "He will never leave or forsake us. He will be with us until the end of time." His love is also unconditional; when something disrupt our relationship with Him, He continues to love us in spite of our short comings. His love for us covers a multitude of  faults;

Many times we look for love in the wrong people, places, and things. These things will always fail us, but there is no failure in God. His love has so much power in it - it can pick us up when we are down and set our feet on solid ground.

God's Agape love is the strongest emotion He has for humans; it can not be contained or controlled.  Out of the three: faith, hope and charity (love); His love is the greatest and carries within it many benefits and blessings.

***This is what the bible says about Love:

I Corinthians 13: 4-8

Charity - God's (love) suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up.

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, and endureth all things.

God's love never faileth.

*** On valentine's day  remembering that we will always have someone that loves us deeply; and because of this, He gave us His greatest gift; we call him Jesus.

Lets continue to remember the true giver and the love that was given with it - until we meet again soon.

Rebuilding Our Life Is Like...

(Thought: Rebuilding)

Genesis 6:5

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Noah was a just man who walked and talked with God daily. Because of this God revealed his intention to him to destroy the world by a flood.  God told him to build an ark (big ship) in which he and his family would survive during that time.  Many times in life we have to clean up what we have messed up, and with the help of God, we can start all over again rebuilding our life one day at a time.

Some times rebuilding our life is not an easy task. First we must examine ourself and  know that God will be  with us through it all. When we think of Nehemiah, he mourned, fasted and prayed to God for many days, seeking his will to rebuild the wall in Jerusalem. We know that it took a lot of courage, ambition and determination to accomplish the task set before him.  In times when God is speaking to us to carry on His work, when no one else hears Him, we get a lot of criticism, scorning and many distractions, but we must obey, trust God and keep the faith.

In many instances life itself is a challenge and a great task to continue to hold our head up, and keep the faith in spite of the doubts of others, close friends and family members.  We must always remember if God is for us He is more than the world against us. When we have done all we can to serve our father, it is then that we can stand and receive our reward.

Let's remember that we can only rebuild a Godly life through Christ.

Until we meet again - soon.

Our Faith Is Whole

(From The Minister's Heart - taught tonight for Bible Class)

Hebrew 11:1- says,  "Our faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Telling us by having faith we have a blessed promise to look forward to, even though we don't see it naturally.

Romans 10:9 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved, by this same faith.

Romans 10:17 says, "So this faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Romans 4:5 says, "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

Ephesians 2:8 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

Matthew 17:20 says, "And Jesus said unto them, If ye have faith as a gran of mustard seed, and shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove:  and nothing shall be impossible to you." This is saying we can speak by faith to remove problems out of our way.

Matthew 9:22 & 29 Jesus says, "Daughter be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole."
"According to your faith be it unto you."

Hebrew 11:6 says, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." This tells us that if we ask God before reaching out for things on our own He will bless us. Also having faith that He will is a blessing because we acknowledged Him first.

Our faith makes us whole spiritually, physically, socially, naturally and moves problems out of our way if we only believe.

Little Faith = Little Power;  Great Faith = Great Power;   Perfect Faith = Perfect/ Mature Power.

A well known TV Pastor said, "Faith was never meant to make things easy, but to make things possible."

Let's be faithful until we meet again - soon.

Something/Someone To Believe In

Galatians 2:20-21

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Now-a- days there are not many things to believe in, or many people to rely on or trust. There is a man who  stuck closer than a brother and laid down in life on Calvary for our sins.  He is one whom we can trust with our life, because He holds our future in his hand. His name is Jesus Christ.

God is one who stepped out of His glorious home, heaven, onto His foot stool, earth to serve mankind.
He looked all over for someone with a sinless body.  He could not find anyone so He said, "I'll go down."
God, the Father, Jesus, the son and the Holy Ghost came down from heaven as one, into a virgin's body and they were born as Baby Jesus.

Paul, birth name was Saul, called himself the chief of sinners. He persecuted many Christians by beating and throwing them in jail because they stood for Christ. Being changed to a christian while on Damascus road he  received God as his Lord and Saviour. He began to preach the gospel with power and authority.  Because of this he was also persecuted, beaten and thrown in prison. This is why Paul's statement is, I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.

Believing in God with all our heart, mind and might, we realize that it is no longer us that endures but the Christ that is within us.

Let's continue to believe in God.

Until we meet again - soon.

EAGLES FLY HIGH

(Thought: Poem)

I am flying high like an eagle and soaring like a dove.  I see someone in my spirit is it God above?

My missions and my goals have been put to the test. I will wait on the Lord and then take a rest.

We know whatever we do for the Lord are the only things that will last. Earthly things have already perished in the past.

We must wait on the Lord and be of good courage, and He will strenghen our heart.  We should have done this thing from the very start.

In doing God's work we must mount up our wings and set a swiftly flight. Waiting and waiting will delay our mission until dawn or midnight.

In accomplishing the task set before us we may endure hardship and pain.  It does not matter now, because the love of God we will gain.

The fruits of the spirit is what we will need, because we have the joy of the Holy Ghost to succeed.

Before starting our mission as a daily routine, each day we must give praises to the Lord, until the Heavenly Host sing.

An Entrusted Leader To Follow

Exodus15:19

For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the Lord brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.

When goals seem too impossible to reach, and dreams seem to fade away encourage yourself and trust God to bring you through, high waters and set your feet on solid ground, as He did the Israelites when the Egyptians were behind them. Their is no doubt that God will not take care of us in our despair.

Whether it is a Professional or Lay Leader, followers should  have enough  trust in their leader to follow them. When a person is lead by God, it is not him who leads, it is the Lord who orders man's steps and guide him in the path he need to take. All leader's directions should come from God.

In order to be the best leader we can be, we should have been the best follower we could be. All great accomplishments are gained through good leadership and willing workers/followers. Our goal is to press toward the mark for greater accomplishments.

I Corinthians 10:33 Paul said,

Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

In order words, Paul is saying, "Don't just follow me,  follow the Spirit of God you see within me."

Let's continue to remember, our Entrusted Leader is the Holy Spirit.

Until We meet again - soon.

A Present Help In Trouble

(Thought: Trouble)

In today's time all we hear of is trouble, trouble and more trouble. We lay awake at  night but that's alright because Jesus will fix it after a while. As many times as we hear about trouble, we hear about God fixing  more problems. We must remember, God is a problem solver. The bigger the problem, the greater His power. He is a very present help in trouble, according Psalm 46:1

We are not in this thing alone. God won't last it last too long. With His help we can make it. Weeping may endure for the night but joy cometh in the morning.  No matter what we are going through God is going to tell us just what to do. We, we can make it.

This too, time of trouble, shall pass.  Psalm 37:39 says,
But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

Let's remember, God is the saving strength of His anointed, and we don't have anything to worry about in times of trouble.

The Power Of Prayer

(From The Minister's Heart)

The most important part our the day is prayer, communicating with our Heavenly Father, God.  We all know what prayer can do. It will carry us through, until the next day.

Our time is spent wisely when we open up our heart and talk to God: A time of Devotion, a time of Praise and, or a time of Worship.

It is good to offer up prayer  any time. Open communication with God always allow Him to instruct us each day with the right path to take. The bible tells us to be instant in prayer, to pray at all times.  A life of prayer is a life of faith and commitment to God...

James 5:16 says,

The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much; the heartfelt prayer of a righteous man has power in it. Power to make circumstances easier to go through than they normally would be.

Praise God like a butterfly.
Sing to Him like a Bee.
The Praying sound is coming from Jesus and me.

Let's continue to have that committed connection with God through the Power Of Prayer.  Prayer, like love, always start at home and spread abroad.

Until we meet again - soon.

Forgiving Power

Genesis 50:20

As for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.

When God has a plan and a purpose for our life, He knows the enemy is going to come against us in full force to destroy us so that the plan of God in our lives, to help others, will not come forth as pure gold.

Satan, our enemy, has a paticular plan of his own, and that plan includes going to and fro on the earth and destroying those that God predestined to be here and carry out  His missison. Satan sometimes enter our life as a sheep in wolves clothing. Don't be distracted by his  tactics of coming to still, kill and destroy .

Each day we must girt about ourselves with the Breast plate of salvation against the wild  influences of the devil... In today's society there are many things that come to destroy the word of God. On this journey we must learn to overcome evil with the good things of God in live.

Let's always remember that there is a lost of power in forgiveness. The only way we won't be forgiven is because we are unwilling to forgive our sisters and brothers as children of God.

Until we meet again - soon.

Still Away Sometimes

What would I give for just a few moments?  What would I give just to have you near?

If I could just still away sometimes from a busy world without criticism from others or great fear.

The word is nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart as we see. By talking to God, saying amen, yes, let it so be.

Still away sometimes just to have silence and the word at best. Resting  in God and laying our head on his breast.

We need quit time to pray, read and meditate. When we hear the word spoken in church - this is when we can relate.

The gospel is the powerful word of God by inspired men to write. The Holy Ghost led them when there was no one in sight.

Be ready in and out of season when it is time to pray. The word deep down inside will lead us to obey.

No one knows the day or hour when the son of man will appear. Isn't it odd, it is not a human, it is God whom we fear?

Until we meet again - soon.
