OUR FATHER WILL RETURN TO GET US

Mark 13:14 -16

But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.

***When the temple of Jerusalem is defiled, fallen, we will know that it is time for Christ to return for us. It will be too late for retrieval of matterial things. Shelter must be taken in the mountains.

***There are sayings, "Don't let him catch us with our work undone;" or, "Don't put off today for tomorrow because it is not promised to us."

***Jesus is comming back for his chosen people: those who have kept the faith; who has kept his commandments and for his brides, without spots or wrinkles.

Mark 13: 26 & 27

And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

***In those days: The sun or moon will not give any light. The stars will fall and the heaven will be shaken; even false phrophets will arise.

***But our father, will return for us in his clouds and glorious power. Charging his angels to bring all his children, us, his church together from all parts of the world.

WHAT A GLORIOUS TIME, WHEN THE SAINTS GO HOME -MARCHING HOME. I WANT TO BE IN THAT NUMBER.

Until we meet again soon.

Dialogue - Speak To Us Lord

COME FROM A POOR FAMILY DIDN'T HAVE MUCH BUT THE LORD...

Many times we don't seem to realize, or sometimes we seem to forget How Good God Has Been To Us.

Psalm 103:1 & 2

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

***When we were born we weren't born with a car, good job, nice house, or money in the bed beside us.
Many of us were born as sharecropper's daughters and sons; or maybe even manufacture's employee children, etc. Since then we have been blessed with tremendous benefts.

*** We have two, three story homes, 2 or 3 cars in the garage, 2 or 3 bank accounts, a job and maybe a back-up one on the side.

The bible says, "Our eyes have not seen, nor ears heard of what the Lord has in store for those who love him."

God will, and can, open up the windows of heaven and pour us out a blessing that we won't have room to receive. All these blessings will come on us and overtake us, if we contine to obey and trust him.

***When we don't have room to receive all of God's blessings, they overtake us by: blessing our children and grandchildren; even those friends and family members that love the Lord; also those we associate with. We are God's children and the fruit of his labor. We are blessed going out and blessed coming in. We will be able to lend and not borrow; we are the head and not the tail.

***Many times we don't feel blessed because of the concerns of this world that we bear. Don't worry when you have done well in due season we will reap a good harvest. Hold on to God's unchanging hands, because help is on the way.  He is a pleasant help in the time of need, according to the bible.

***If we continue to delight ourselves in the Lord he will give us the desire of our heart. We must also comit our ways to him, and rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him. We cannot afford to fret ourselves because of others who prospereth in his way.

Taste and see that the Lord is good, just like coffee or tea, He is good to the last drop.

Come from a poor family naturally; but being in the family of God takes presidence over anything we can say or imagine.

Until we meet again - soon.

From The Minister's Heart

TRUE LOVE, WHO CAN FIND IT?

Romans 8:38 - 39

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

Nor height, nor dept, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Is love a passive or action word? Or do we use it with dissimulation, in pretense, when we need something from someone.

Do we use the word like, care for or care about insted of love; or do we say I adore you insted of  I love you?

Love is a powerful word; it is stronger than the word death, according to the bible.

We can say, "Love is a powerful action word because death, life, angels, any powers, any thing, any one or any state that we are in, should not be able to sperarate us from God's love.

TRUE LOVE, WHO CAN FIND IT?

Jeremiah 17:9

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

When we find love, will we know it. Will it be that acceptable, good or perfect love that God speaks about?

God says, "Yes, He has loved us from the beginning with a everlasting love: and with his lovingkindnes he has brought us closer to him, according to Jeremiah 31:3.

His perfect love is shown through him, for us and toward us, by dying on the cross, becomming sin when he knew no sin. Taking away our sins and giving us his righteousness: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.

There is no greater love in one than in him, who laid down his life for us; that Agaga love he has for us.

Yes, We have found a love; because God says he is love, according to I John 4:8

The Leader In You

Mark 10:35-37

And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come unto him, saying, Master, we would that thou shouldest do for us whatsoever we shall desire.

And he said unto them, What would ye that I should do for you?

They said unto him, Grant unto us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and the other on thy left hand, in thy glory.

***When we please God, He will ask us in our spirit, "What would we have him  to do for us?" Lets meditate on them first, so we will not give worldly answers as:

I need a better paying job; a new car; a bigger bank account; and a new home.

***What about a closer walk with him - grant it Jesus is our plea. Create in us a clean  heart and renew the right spirit within us. Help us to spread love today; to love those who are unloveabe, and to forgive those who have mistreated us - so that we might be forgiven.

If we seek ye first, the King of God and his righteouness, all those things we need will be added, according to the bible.

***Solomon a God sent leader -King- did not ask God for riches and treasures but for wisdom so that he may make righteous decisions over God's people. For this God told him, "He would not only give him wisdom, but he will make him the wisest man thoroughout his life time."  He would add riches and tresures to his life as well.

Solomon received all of these things because he asked God for the right thing, for the right reason, and at the right time; to help others.

James 4:3

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

IMPORTANT!  God said, "When we ask for things for the wrong reason, we don't receive them, because we ask for our own pleasures.

Lets began to ask for things in the name of Jesus.  Things that will bless others as well. True Leadership is serving, ministering, to the need of others

Until we meet again soon.

Dialogue - Speak To Us Lord

"THE TOTAL YOU"

We are total - holistic- individuals with a soul, mind and body; and these things must function together for the common good of a  healthy lifestyle.

Our health is affected very much by our lifestyle - the way we live.

Many of us eat well, but don't get enough exercise. We don't eat the right foods, which consist of many fruits
and vegetables daily, per doctors, so we substitute them with vitamins.

Many times we put more time into work and functions than planning a healthy meal - (a mind opener).

Many of us are mentally sharp, but prefer not to be socially or spiritually active.

Our body suffer consequences if we don't balance our diet, exercise, get enough rest, stop smoking and drinking too much. Our body can become more mobile and functional if we put more time and energy into it.

***How can we rate ourselves on a scale of 1-10; one being the bottom.

Lets take control over our livestyle as much as possible; "Mind over matter."

III John 2

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

John 10:10

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

God wants us to have a full and healthy life; He want us to his complete, total and holistic person.

The bible says, "WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST, WHICH STRENGTHEN US."

Lets start shaping up our soul, mind and body, in the name of Jesus - until we meet again soon.

From The Minister's Heart

A NAME ABOVE ALL OTHER NAMES

Many times, we as christians, take on the mind and/or exemplify the role of the world. We get caught up in self, as others do. We try to show our best side, but if we don't stay in the word and follow Jesus; we will find ourselves drifting to worldly idols.

Many times our mind is focused on the media: tv, radio and technology, etc. to keep us abreast of what is happening in the world. It is good to know about things/happenings around us, but lets not loose focus of the Light of the world, Jesus..

We usually stay in tune with : Who the best known actor is, movie producer, comedian, author, etc. These people name and achievements stick with us for some reason or another. More than anything else we should stay in touch with Jesus and follow his mission and fame. He has a name that is above all other names; because he is Lord of lords and King of kings.

Sometimes our jobs or functions cause us to stay in touch with worldly things and happenings. We do what we have to do, to work and provide for our family, and this is ok.

God says, He is a jealous God; and we shouldn't have any other god before him; becausee there is no power in any other name except in the name of Jesus. Some may dispute this statemment and say the devil has power. According to the bible, Jesus has all power, and the devil has only the power that we give him. When we were born, starting with Adam and Eve; God gave us dominion over the earth and everything there in.

I John 2: 15-17
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.  If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

And the world passeth away, and lust  thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

These are very famous names to look for in our bible; and we can find out more about his famous teachings and miracles:

Jehovah Elohim - Lord God - Judges 5:3; Deutoronomy 10:17
Jehovah Shammah - The Lord is Present - Ezekiel 48:35
Jehovah Rapha - Our Lord who Heals - Exodus 15:26
Jehovah  Jireh   - The Lord will Provide - Genesis 22:14
Jehovah Shalom - The Lord our Peace - Judges 6:24

Lets continue to get wrapped up, tied up, tangled up and caught up in the name of Jesus.

Until we meet again soon.

Born To Lead

One must first be a follower before he/she can truly lead. Understanding, knowledge and wisdom comes from following a leader. Be an example of a true follower inorder to be a good leader.

Mark 9:2-4

And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.

And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.

***Jesus took Peter, James and John away from the rest of the people, even his other disciples to meet with other Gody leaders. He transfigured himself  into a Godly figure clothed in white. Letting them know he was not only Jesus, but God in the spirit.

*** Jesus as God let his three beloved disciples know that at his beckon call  Elias and Moses would rise up in the spirit and talk with him at his pleasure.

Mark 9:7-9

And there was a clould that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.

And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

***Many times children in the house wonder who the real leader is mother or father; because both tell us to obey as they tell/give us things to do.

***There should not be any doubt in a child's mind of who the head of the household is; who the leader is, and who they should obey. Our children should not be confused by this.

***Private discussions within the family should not be told to anyone but God. The head leader of us all.

A Christian Leadership class I took says :

An effective Christian leader is a person who gets the right things done:

by the right people

at the right time

and at the right place.

Let Jesus lead us all the way from earth to glory.

Until we meet again - soon.

Real Love

THOUGHT:  REAL LOVE

What is real love?  Is it something that we see or is it something that we feel?

*** By definition, Love is a strong attraction that we have for someone or something.

We, as humans, know that when a person or thing that we love is not in our sight or reach, we continue to think about them/it until we see them or it again.

***We also say, Out of sight, out of mind. This not true concerning love.  Absence makes the heart grow funder. Unless something abrupt and destroy our love for the person or thing, we continue to love them/it
in spite of their short comings.

We were created to love. The bible says, God is love. He created us in him image because he loved us so very much. He gave His life for us through his agape love, so that we may love others as we love ourselves.
Out of all His creation, He chose us to be in his image. To talk, walk, look and also to love as He loves.

*** Love is the strongest emotion that a human has; it can not be controlled. This is why love covers a multitude of  faults; and out of of the three: faith, hope and charity (love); love is the greatest of the these.

Hate is another strong feeling but does not dominate love. If we become oppsessed with hate it can destroy us. Love does not act this way; it is a fruit of the Holy spirit, and carries many benefits and blessings with it.

***Many times we look for love in the wrong persons, places, and things. Please don't make the mistake of thinking money, possessions and status can replace love. All these things help our livelihood; but they will never replace love.

***This is what the bible says about Love:

I Corinthians 13: 4-8

Charity (love) suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up.

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, and endureth all things.

Love never faileth.

*** On valentine's day lets remember that we have, and always will have someone that loves us deeply; and He gave us his greatest gift; we call him Jesus.

Whatever gifts we receive that day, lets remember the true giver and the love that was given with the gift.

Until we meet again - soon.

Fly High Like An Eagle

(From The Minister's Heart)

FLY LIKE AN EAGLE AND SOAR LIKE A DOVE

An eagle is recognized for its fast flight and strength in its wings.

A dove is a symbol of gentleness and innocence as in the Holy Spirit.

There are many missions and goals that  have been put on earth for us to perform. Many are simple and some are very time consuming. There are many things we must undergo to attempt to reach the destination  God has set before us.

We know that whatever we do for the Lord are the things that will last; and we must give them our undivided attention; and do the best we can to accomplish them. When this journey get weary just remember:

Psalm 27: 14

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart; wait, I say, on the Lord.

Psalm 37: 7

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Isaiah 40: 31

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

In doing God's work we must mount up our wings and set flight swiftly as the eagle to be about his business.
We must accomplish these missions and goals as an innocent dove; by demonstrating the fruits of the spirit: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law, according to the bible; Galations 5: 22.

***Before starting our mission - daily rountine - each day; lets pray to the Lord, and he will renew our strength. We will be able to mount up like an eagle and soar like a dove.

Until we meet again - soon.

Who Are We? What Is Our Identity?

Mark 8:27 - 29

And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesara Phillipi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?

And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.

And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.

*** During our christian walk with Jesus we should know who he really is. There are many people we hang with or talk to regularlly that do not know him as we do. Many rumors has been said about who Jesus is: a homosexual, magdelene's lover, a natural man. We, as believers, should know his true identity: The son of the living God, our saviour.

*** If we do not know the Lord, and his true identity; how can we really know ourselves? We are his children, and we are part of him. This enables us to witness to others and tell them about the goodness of the Lord.

Mark 8:34

And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

*** Jesus tells us, If we, or any one else want to be a follower of his we must put aside our own pleasures and do his work.

Mark 8:36-38

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

***Does it benefit us to get everything we want in life and lose our soul to the pits of hell?

***There is nothing as important and precious as our soul.

*** Jesus also tells us, That we can not afford to be asham of him on this journey of unbelief and sin. If we are, he will be asham of us, when he returns in the glory of his Father. Many times we will not testify of Jesus and his goodness when we are around our unsave love ones.  This is really the best time to talk about him, so others will be drawn closer to him.

Who do we know the best, him or them - our family and friends?

Lets get to know Jesus, our Lord and Saviour better.

Until we meet again soon.

Education: A Terrible Thing To Waste

Statement made: I'm going back to school to...

Thought: AN EDUCATED NATION.

We have heard it said many times, ""A mind is a terrible thing to waste." This statement is very true.

The news media told about a lady who was in her 80's that went back to college and got her bachelor degree.

It is never too late to get an education. Sometimes it takes older adults longer to comprehend as fast and as much, as it does a younger person. It is worth every effort to try to become or stay educated; even if this means staying refreshed on things that we have learned.

Our mind, I like, is like a computer; it has had so much information stored on the drive over the years; it is full, and needs to be cleaned out for more storage.

A magazine article stated, "If we communicate more, and do more mind interactive activities our mind would stay more active and alert."

If we notice, when a family member or friend talk more to an older person, his/her mind stays active longer.
This is because it opens up the memory  for communication and to think more socially.

The mind has many opinions, suggestions, comments and questions hidden in it. It just needs the opportunity to share the thoughts.

Proverbs 15:2

The tongue of the wise useth knowledge aright:

Proverbs 18:15

The heart of the prudent getteth knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeketh knowledge.

***A wise teacher uses his/her knowlege the right way; with joy

***An intelligent person is open to new ideas; he is always looking for them.

***With technology taking over so many jobs in our society; it is good to stay abreast on many things.

Out of all our getting lets get an understanding;  and with the understanding  knowledge.

Until we meet again - soon.

God Bless America

(From The Minister's Heart)

*** Our nation is in an uproar: Son is against father; daughter is against mother; and sometimes our best friend is our worse enemy. We really don't have to go to war; it is already in many of our homes.

*** Lord help us to overcome evil with good, and to bless those who curse and spitefully mistreat and use us. You said, "Let brotherly love continue." Lord, we need you to heal us.

*** The economy has took a turn for the worse. Many have lost their jobs and because of this, they have lost their homes. Many have even lost their families. Lord, we need you to heal our econony.

*** Nations against nations. We are hearing of wars and rumors of wars. Many nations are forming allies - good or bad. Lord, we need you to heal our land.

*** Our schools and non-profit organizations as churches is not meant to become more monetary focused than people focused. Lord, we need you to heal our organizations.

*** Many times we want to join forces and make as many changes as society does; or make as many changes as it allows. Times like these christians can not afford to join the world in doing things that does not please God.

*** Have we formed allies with our unsaved love ones and disobeyed God's perfect will for us?

*** Christians, we were born with a purpose and a mission. Lets keep hope alive.
*** Lets stand out and be counted, even if we have to stand alone, as Jesus did.

Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.

Although people, places and things change; God said, "He does not change; He is the same loving father who created heaven and earth, and put us here to enjoy it.

IIChronicles 7:14-16

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will  heal their land.

Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place.

For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there perpetually.

*** It is not too late for christians to stand up and be counted by: continuing to pray and turning from our wrong doings; so that God can heal our wounds and the sinful wounds of this world.

Lets be in prayer and seeking God's face- until we meet again soon.
