God Is - Jesus The Man

What can we do to restore faith in man?  Preaching  the word at God's command.

If we obey God in a crisis situation rather than man, without a doubt we will be able to stand.

Stand and see God's Glory, but to the unsave, with true meaning it may just be a story.

Say his name once and  more than twice, then Jesus will show up whether we have been naughty or nice.

The three Hebrew boys was thrown in the Fiery furnace, without Jesus they would have turnaged.

Doing what we know to do - and doing the best we can.  Many are now walking to the Master instead

of man.

Come to the Lord just as we are, because He is on the inside and not very far.

Hear our prayers Oh Lord and hear our cry. You are almighty God, we can not deny.

Lean On God, Call On Him and He Won't Let You Fall

My sermon on Sunday, June 24, 2012

Jeremiah 29:10-15

For thus saith the Lord, that after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give an expected end.

The nations around Babylon were being controlled by Nebuchadnezzar, the King. A policy put into effect by his deceased father, the previous king.

God told Jerusalem that after seventy years He would make good of His word and bring them back to their land.

In this day and time there are people that has a controlling spirit, trying to control your house, my house  and the church. This should not be.

God tells us in Jeremiah 33:3 to call on Him and He will answer us, and shew us great and mighty things that we do not know about, in our time of need.

When we stop calling - praying -to the Lord:

 1. There is no counsel - we start doing wrong things in our life.
 2. There is no protection - because we stop praying.
 3. There is no communication line open - so God can not talk with us.

In learning how to lean and depend on Jesus, we found out if we trust him, he would provide.

Don't stop leaning and calling on the Lord until He return for us.

Until we meet again soon.

I Will Never Forget What You Done For Me

Thank you Lord for being so good and being so kind, with all of your Power and Glory you're always on time.

Every time we fall down you pick us up. What an awesome God we serve You are more than enough.

I will never forget what you done for me. When I went through the storm, I praised you, and I was set free.

I will never forget how you brought us out.  You told Satan these are my chosen children and there is no doubt.

I will never forget how you set me free. In all of my short commings my flesh warred against me.

I feel good rejoicing in your goodness and your glory. Once I get to heaven  this will be good news and not a shor story.

Time has ran out for using your name in vain. In reading my bible, all revelation and comprehension I will retain.

"I will never forget what you done for me."

Father Knows Best

My father, a strong and dedicated family man, knew it was his responsibility to take care of his family.  He spent as many hours working daily to earn enough money to meet our financial needs.

He thought it was best that the mother stay in the home and takes care of the needs of the children, and that man’s responsibility was to work outside the home..  This idea was passed down in his family from generation to generation.

I can truly say we never went lacking in food, clothing or shelter. There were some things we wanted but never needed. We always had money to take to school although we did not have to buy lunch.

My father passed when I was 16 years of age and my brother was 17. I remember him now as if it was a few years ago that he passed. No one will ever take the place of my father, Willie Rosser. Born a father, and died a caring and loving man.

The Tongue - A Flaming Fire

When we offend many in the word, reading Proverb 15:1 is a good antidote haven't you heard?

The tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity that no human will love or desire.

But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison, who can we blame?

Out of the same mouth proceedeth a blessing and a curse.  My brethren, these things out not to be or they will get worse.

If we have bitter envying and strife in our heart, glory not and lie not from the start.

Therewith we bless our Father, and even God : and therewith we curse men which are made in His image isn't this odd?

Who is a wise man and endued with acknowledge among you? Let him have decent conversations with his words being true.

Showing Compassion

Leviticus 19:11-17

Tell us not to offend our brother in any way, but to show compassion. Similiar to the laws of the Ten Commandments.

Do not steal, lie, deceive one another, swear falsely by His name etc.

The Lord is the only one who is just and fair in showing love and true judgement at the same time.

Loving our neighbor as ourself has been called the Golden Rule and offers the last rule of maintaining holiness in our actions toward others.

We are also warned not to mistreat strangers because we were once pilgrams in a foreign country.

Let's continue to show compassion to our neighbor - until we meet again soon.

The Rich Heart Of A Poor Man

A Good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and something gold - is this full of wishes?

The rich and poor meet together: the Lord is the maker of them all now and forever.

By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life. Give God your all and don't hesitate
or have strife.

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it, as we know.

The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrow is servant to the lender, when does honesty help us to surrender?

He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor, is this a test?

Foolishness is bound in the hear of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. This makes him obedient to the oldest of them.

Being Just and Fair

Exodus 23:1-2

Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not the thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:

In witnessing anything don't spread lies about the situation, just tell the truth and nothing but the truth.
When we accompany others we should not let our conversation waver, but be truthful, eventhough we are with a crowd known to, and desire is to spread evil words, showing favortism.

Exodue 23:7-8

Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not:  for I will  not justify the wicked.

And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.

When a person is innocent don't entertain a lie about them, knowing the truth. Your words can  be dedtramental, because life and death are in the power of our tongue.

Many times precious gifts will keep people from telling the truth about a matter.

Let's continue to be just and fair in all situations.

Until we meet again - soon.
