HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD AND PROSPEROUS YEAR

THOUGHT:  IF I COULD TURN BACK THE HANDS OF TIME

Many times we wish or pray that we could change - redo the things that we did today, yesterday  or even the day before. No one can go back into history and change time. We are not in the Outer limits or Twilight Zone. Time is not always on our side - but God is.

David, the king, the shepherd boy, the man after God's own heart said, "My times are in thy hand...

Too many of us - it may seem as though we did not have enough time to finish the things we started last year in 2010, but God knows about it. We accomplished as much as he allowed us to. We may plan our way but God order our steps, according to the bible.

Many of us want:
A new car - better living conditions - a better and prosperous job or maybe a larger bank account. Remember that we cannot put our trust in any of these things- but we can put it in God. These are material things, yes we need them, but we need God more. There is no salvation in material things.

Deuteronomy 8:18

But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

Remember that God is the one who gives us a stable mind, a healthy body and the activity of all our limbs - enabling us to get wealth; he also did this for our ancestors.

***WE ARE BETTER THAN WE USE TO BE, NOT AS WORSE AS WE COULD BE, AND STRIVING TO BE ONE OF THE BEST.

NEW YEAR RESOLUTION

James 4:15

For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

When we make our New Year's resolution lets not leave God out. He knows what things we have need of  before we ask him, Matthew 6:8.

John 14:14

If ye ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John 15:7

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Matthew 7:7 & 8

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you;

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

God said, "The thoughts he has toward us is:  plans of peace and not of evil, to give us hope, prosperity and a future."

Let us plan to be in the will of God - until we meet again - soon.

Celebrations To Remember

Isaiah 64:8

But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

*** Lord you are our maker and creator; we are the creatures. You  molded and made us in the perfect image of you.

Ephesians 1:11-12

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

*** We are here because we belong to God; he chose for us to be here for his purpose and not of ourselves. He and only he has control over us, and directs our life in the way he would have us go.

*** We were born as chosen children of God to have that perfect relationship with him; to praise him and give his all the glory he so deserves.

When we were born a chapter of our life began.  Our parents helped us began -compose those first chapters in our life: by nurturing, teaching and training us in the way we should go, according to the word of God.

During our teenage years they continue to help us form the right chapters of our book by being examples  in our life: taking us to Church services, Sunday school and Bible class. They instilled Godly principles in us by being roll models -the examples themselves.

After we enter adulthood, marry and have children then it is time for us to help our children form chapters of their book - by putting the right things in their life.

It is not until the days of our life has ended - expired that the book will say, "The End."  The book will be closed on this side.

On the other side, at the appearing of a new heaven and a new earth, when we see King Jesus in all his glory - that our book will have a new beginning, because he is  the begining and the ending, Alpha and Omega.

We are looking for God to say, "Well done good and faithful servant come on in.
Our parents are given manuscripts, the bible, on how to help write-compose our life- in the body of the book. God, himself, always write the introduction to the book; because he molds and shapes us into what he wants us to be. He is potter and we are his clay.

In celebrating the birth of a child lets take time to start that child's life with Godly principles and love.
A good book is composed of good chapters - of our life.

Until we meet again - soon.

I Will Be With You

Isaiah 43:1-2

But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel. Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou are mine.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

*** God says, " before we were formed in the belly he knew us and before we came from the womb he set us apart to be saved. He knew us by name before our parents did because we belong to him. He gave his life for our life - so that we may live."

*** He says when we go through trials, or have trouble on every side they will not overtake us, because he is with us. Whatever the situation may be he is here to protect and deliver us out of it.

Isaiah 43:7 & 11

Even every one that is called by my name; for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

I, even I, am the Lord; and beside me there is no saviour.

*** God has called us after his name, Christ, because we are christians. He made us in his perfect image and created us to serve him. He is the potter and we are his clay because he made and molded us in a perfect way to be just like him, meek and lowly in our heart.

*** God loves us so very much because in the beginning he had many creatures to chose from to be like him, but he chose you and me.

*** There is no one else like God because he has saving power: to save us from sin, also to save us from troubles that has passed our way and from troubles that will be comming.

I will be with you this is what God said. Will we be with him - until we meet again soon?

Christmas Blessings

Question Posed:  WHAT ARE YOU DOING CHRISTMAS

*** CHRISTMAS - is derived from base word Christ. Meaning the celebration of Christ's birth.
This is an holy occassion celebrated all over the world. Lets remember that Christ is not under the tree - but he hung on the tree.

*** Three wise men did present three different gifts to the babe Jesus, the saviour. The gifts did not make up
the total Christmas. Christ is the total make up of Christmas because he is the gift that was sent to save the world from sin and shame. During crucifixion he hung on the tree not under the tree.

*** On Christmas let us fellowship with Christ first- whether it is in our home or at church.
Afterwards let us fellowship with family and friends. This is the spiritual order.

SPIRITUAL then NATURAL food.

*** Let us not forget Christ is the reason for this season.

Psalm 100:1-5

Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.
Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise; be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the Lord is good: his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

*** Praise God for the many blessing that he has bestowed upon us each day - whether we receive gifts on Christmas or not. Our greatest gift was and still is Christ.

*** Whether we go to church or not let us enter him into the gates of heart and praise him as our saviour. We know that the Lord is good because he blessed our ancestors, us, and will continue to bless our descendants.

O come, O come all ye faithful, to Bethlehem. Come let us adore him, Christ the Lord.

Let us fellowship with Christ - until we meet again soon.

Only The Strong Survives

(From The Minister's Desk/Heart)

II Corinthians 12: 10 & 13:9

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

For we are glad, when we are weak, and you are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

*** It is a blessing to be strong enough to endure hardship, pain and trials because we know it is not us. It is the power of God that resides within us. The power God has given us to endure many attacks that come our way. This is all part of suffering all the day long, as the bible says, for righteousness sake. We must endure to carry out his will/mission.

*** The bible tells us, "The work that Jesus carried out; greater work than that we shall do."

*** Many times we get weak in the flesh and our friends and others are strong in the spirit. At this point they are able to help lift us up, and sometimes help us to finish the work that we have begun with the help of the Lord.

Ephesians 6:10

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.

*** We must realize that we have no strength or power of our own. The power that comes from within us belongs to the Lord who created heaven and earth. We also know that God gives us power to get wealth, as the scripture says.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

*** We are able to accomplish great things with the help of the good Lord. He has all power in his hands.
We can be certain that when God gives us power to carry out his will no one or nothing can stop us; they may hinder us but never stop us.

*** The bible tells us, "Once the Holy Ghost come upon us, we shall have power to do many things. God's given power to live by -amen.

Lets use the power God has lended us to do good things for others - until we meet again soon.

A SAVIOR WAS BORN - HIS NAME IS JESUS

My sermon on Sunday, December 19,  was very similiar to our Sunday school lesson. At that time I did not
know it; also I did not realize I was next in line to speak.God does improvise because he said in his word, "Within the hour he will give us what to say."

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Mary who was to wed Joseph was found with a child. Going to Egypt to pay taxes Mary got sick so she and Joseph came to an Inn. There was no room in the Inn and baby Jesus had to be born in a stable with animals. As the scriptures said, "He had no place to laid his head. Growing up he taught doctors, lawyers and
leaders in the synagogue.

Jesus was born to save us from our sins. He died so that we might live and have eternal life. God looked in the earth among men to see if any was worthy to die for our sins. Not Paul, David, Solomon or Moses. He had to come down as a baby. The cheif priests and others were looking for a King of Kings and Lord of Lords to come down dressed in glory.

To do the work of his father, God, Jesus endured many things he was whipped with 39 stripes - each stripe had healing powers in it, "With his stripes we were healed, the scripture says."

They hung him high on the cross and stretched him wide. The son of man had no place to lay his head. He laid his head between the locks of his shoulder. He was laid to rest  in a borrowed tomb - Joseph's new tomb.

That baby born in a stable had no place to lay his head. That same savior on the cross had no place to lay his head. The son of God that  laid in a borrowed tomb did not have his own place to lay his head. His name was Jesus, our Lord and savior, Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

He is called Wonderful because no one can bless, treat and have mercy on us like Jesus. He is our Counsellor because when we lay down at night and it seems as though the world is on our shoulders - he wipes our tears away. He rocks us to sleep when weeping has endured for the night then joy comes in the morning.  He is our mighty God because no one can do wonderful works like he can. You know he formed the heavens and earth. He is our everlasting Father because he was here from the beginning and he is here now.  He also predestined us to be here today. He is our Prince of Peace because when we are trouble he makes things better when we pray to him in the name of Jesus.

*** Think on this wise, the son of man, Jesus, had no place to lay his head. We are very blessed to have large and sometimes two story homes, a nice car and bank account, blessed family and friends. He world was on our Lord and savior shoulders. He had no friends except his disciples and some of them denied him.

For us a child was born and God's only begotten son was given to save us from our sins - his name is Jesus.

Lets be a true disciple to Jesus - until we meet again soon.

Holiday Cheer!

(THOUGTHT:  Holiday Seasons)

*** This is a time of year that we should lay back, relax and enjoy the holiday seasons. Enjoy the time that we share with family and friends. All year long we are busy working or doing household chores or both. Take time out to smell the coffee - then drink it to the last drop.

Psalm 118:24
This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

*** Enjoy life to its fullest in the Lord. Take time out to tell God thank you for this day. A day that we have never seen before, and will never see again.

*** Family and friends that we have not seen in a while lets take time to give them a call or mail them a holiday card.  We need to let them know that they are in our heart and we are thinking about them.

*** Lets treasure every minute in the day as if it were our last. In this day and time our life is a gem.

ALSO BE CAREFUL FOR NOTHING

I Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

*** During this holiday season be very careful. Watch and pray because satan comes to kill, steal and destroy:
Two or more people should shop together.
Don't leave children in cars not attended by adults.
Be alert when leaving the stores and driving home alone - always keep car doors locked.
Name of toys on throw away boxes alert others about what has been purchased - per tv news.

Always be alert and go unhurt in the name of Jesus - until we meet again soon.

Things Happen

(From The Minister's Desk)

A nationally known TV pastor said, "Things don't happen to us. Things happen for us."

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

*** As we think back on events and happenings in our life - these things came to make us stronger,
to humble us more to God, to help us accept the things we can not change and wisdom to know the difference, to shed a different light upon our life, also to let us know God was working it out for our good.

Psalm 34:7 & 15 - 17

The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all thier troubles.

*** It does not matter which direction our problems come from: North, East, South or West God protects us by building a fortress - wall of protection all around us. He gives his angels charge to watch over us all day and all night.

*** When christians are heavy laiden and burden down God hears our call of desperation and deliver us from all our troubles. He makes a way for us to escape - because his is the way, the truth and the light.

*** God is so awesome, he not only tells angels to watch over us, we have double indemnity - protection - because he too is watching and listening for our call out to him.

*** When christians fall God reaches way down to pick us up with his right hand, his righteous hand, hand of power and dominion.

*** When things continue to happen in our life and we know it is not of God - continue to call on his holy name, Jesus, there is power in that name - until we meet again soon.

Lost But Not Forsaken

Isaiah 41:8 - 10

But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend.

Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called the from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou are my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

*** God has chosen each one of his children to serve him because we are his friends. He chose us before we were in our mother's womb. At that time we knew nothing about him.

*** He called us from a life of sin and shame - out of darkness into the marvelous light - because he had a mission for us to carry out - he never wanted us to be lost or perish in our sins - because we belong to him.

*** He tells us to never be afraid because he is God all by himself and he will never leave or forsake us. He can strenthen, help and protect us from all our enemies in our time of weakness.

Isaiah 41:20

That they may see, and know, and consider, and understand together, that the hand of the Lord has done this, and the Holy One of Israel hath created it.

*** When God bless and/or deliver us out of trouble he do not want us to take it for granted.  He want us to think about, try to understand that it was he who has done this great thing, the Holy One.

God said he will never leave or forsake us. He will be with us through thick and thin. If God said it that settles it - until we meet again soon.

Speak To Our Economy Lord

(Thought)

Statement made: EMPLOYEES ARE BEING LAID OFF AND FIRED ON THEIR JOB.

There are many things that happen in live that we have no control over: Many companies are not doing business as usual. They are taking a loss rather than a gain or profit.  Many jobs have to cut back employee hours to keep from laying them off. The economy is not at it's best right now.

Deuteronomy 8:18

But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God:  for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

*** It is the same God now as it was then - when our ancestors was around - that gives us our physical and mental strength to be able to accomplish and get the things we have today. This promise and blessing came from above -  not our employer.

*** We must  look to the hills from which cometh our health. Our health cometh from the Lord who made heaven and earth - not from man.

Psalm 112:1-3

Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

*** Many times when we have a good job and things are going well in our life; it seems as though we forget about God who blessed us. This should not be the situation.  The bible says, "The love of money (the love of money) is the root of all evil" - and money can draw us away from God if we fall in love with it. God is a jealous God. He will not let us put another God -money - before him. Yes, we all need money to live but we need God more.

*** God allows many things to happen in our life when we lose focus of him. This is why we need to start praising God again. Thank and trust  him for our new and better job. Our children will be blessed and prosper, and we will have everything we need.

Philippians 4:19

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

*** We need to look to God when we are in need. God is responsible for taking care of us because he is our father and we are his children. He made and created us for his good pleasure. In return he wants us to obey him - as any natural parent who loves their children would.

I Corinthians 2:9

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

*** We cannot imagine in our wildest dreams the wonderful things that God has ready for us because we love and is willing to obey him: a new car, job or home...

.

Lets thank God for these things - until we meet again soon.

Walking Alone

(From The Minister's Heart)

*** SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO WALK ALONE - because we are set apart to do the work of the Lord - but the one who lives inside of us will give us joy, strength and power to carry out God's will.

Psalm 4:3
But know that the Lord has set apart him that is godly for himself;  the Lord will hear when I call upon him.

*** When God has a mission for us to perform He will make the pathway straight for us to walk therein. He will anoint, appoint and give us directions on how to go about accomplishing his mission.

Psalm 20:6 and 28:8

Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.

The Lord is thier strength, and He is the saving strength of his anointed.

*** When God saves us He really saves us - He not only saves our souls from the gates of  hell; He saves
us from seen and unseen danger: car accidents, driveby shootings, robberies ...

***God continues to save us from daily trials and tribulations because Hhe has a plan for our life as he had plans for Jeremiah.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

*** God's plans for our life is to prosper us and give us hope and a good future.

*** We know that the plans, goals and mission that God has for us is not by our might, nor by our power, but by his holy spirit, Zechariah 4:6

Psalm 105:15

Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

*** God says, "Do not hurt the ones He has chosen to do his work, and do not harm His prophets - His messengers."

Lets get to know the perfect will God has for our life - until we meet again soon.

Double For Our Trouble

Isaiah 40:1-2

COMFORT Ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins.

*** Because we were born in sin and shaped in iniquity - this lets us know that we are going to sin. Some sins can not be erased but they can be forgiven by our heavenly father, who knows all things.

*** The bible tells us, "All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God." This is also true - but once we have been saved and the Holy Ghost - comforter - lives in us the sins we us to do we don't do them any more. God knows that in times as these we are doing our best to live right - according to his will.  Many of us are doing our best to survive in this perverse -evil - generation.
***This is when the Holy Spirit come in and help us - by leading and guiding us to all truth and righteousness.

*** When we let the Holy Spirit perform his perfect work in our life God can and will use us for his glory.
At this time he will restore us and give us double for all the trouble we have had in life; not only financially, physically, socially and mentally -  but we will also have a peace of mind.

Isaiah 40:29 - 31

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

*** Wait, I say wait upon the Lord.  He will give us a refreshing and renewing spirit - to those who are tired and worn out - from the trials and testes we have endured in life. Even our young people will grow tired and give up.  But if we wait upon the lord to raise us up with his marvelous power and strength -we will get up on our feet and have more strength than ever before. At this point we can go on in life without being as tired and weary.

*** Please Lord, "CREATE IN US A CLEAN HEART, AND RENEW THE RIGHT SPIRIT WITHIN US - SO WE MIGHT NOT SIN AGAINST YOU.

Lord, please give us double for our trouble - until we meet again soon.

Holy Matrimony

Statement Made:  Marriage takes too much work.

When a man and woman marries - enters into holy matrimony. They also enter into a covenant -binding agreement - with God to put him first in their life.

Genesis 2:18

And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone;  I will make him a help meet.

Genesis 2:24

Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother; and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

*** God do not want man to be alone on earth so he made woman to help him - so they can fellowship and have a good relationship with each other. God also wants to fellowship and have a good relationship with us.

*** God wants husbands and wives to be so close to each other that they feel as though they are one flesh. Spouses should be the back bone in each other's life. To love, support, respect and cherish each other.

A nationally known TV pastor said, "We have to work at marriage the way we work at salvation."

Our class Instructor/Counselor said, " Her counselling sessions in marriage is based on Ephesian 5:21 - 33."

***Ephesian 5:21 - 33 is in the Holy bible for our reading.

*** A main point God is telling spouses is to be submissive to each other. Be respectful, subjective to each other. The wife knows her husband is the head of the house and she should be obedient to him according to the word of God.  The husband knows the wife is the weaker vessel and he should respect her and lay down his life for her. To allow her to lean and depend on him through Jesus Christ.

*** God want spouses to love each other;  the way he loves his church. No greater love that one has than he who laid down his life for us.

*** Lastly, marriage vowels  are very sacred: for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer through sickness or in health ... till death separate us.

*** This is what Jesus said, " I will never leave you or forsake you; I will be with you until the end of the earth."  That is what he said.

Hold on, hold on I will be with you that is what he said - song

*** Again, marriage is holy and the vowels are sacred.

*** Before marrying someone it is good to get spiritual counseling.

Proverb 18:22

Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.

*** When a man find a good help meet - a woman in the Lord - both of them have God's  blessings in the marriage.

*** Ask God to give you his chosen spouse and obtain his favor
.

Will we be hearing wedding bells - until we meet again soon?

The Lost Of A Love One

 (From The Minister's Heart)
I know this is a sensitive subject and I will treat it as one. God has put it in by heart to deal with it especially during this Holiday season.

Statement made to me,  " NO ONE BRINGS UP MY LOVE ONE'S NAME SINCE THEIR DEATH."

Mother's, fathers, sisters, brothers and friends - know that everyone grieves in their own way. Many times others are crying inside.  Many times others do all they can to survive. Whatever your situation is talk to God about it. If you need a human to talk to - the bible tells us to communicate with those who teach us as: your pastor or Church counselor.

** I lost my brother in 2003 and my sister earlier this year. Each death took a great toll on my life. My pastor counselled me so that I could make it through each day. The counselling this year, after my sister's death, lasted about one week. After my brother's death in 2003 it seemed as though I would not make it through it. God gave my pastor and wife wisdom and knowledge to help me through that time. You see with my brother's death the first link in the chain of siblings was broken - this is why I took it much harder.

** Christians God has established his church with others to help us. God said, "Upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."  I will say it like, I think, Paul would, "I urge you to get counselling if you feel you need it."  Never be asham of it - this is something we need to bring us from our past hurts and pains to the marvelous light.

A well known TV pastor said, "We may never get over it, but we can get through it."

In my counseling class on Thursday nights our Instructor/Doctor stated, "We must go on in life because we still have other love ones here" - whether it is our spouse, other family members or friends.

Paul said it best, "For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens," II Corinthians 5:1

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord
II Corinthians 5:8

*** Chiristians - sisters and brothers in christ - our love ones do have a better life with our Father/God. They are fellowshiping with him right now. No more hurt and pain. Nothing but joy and peace that passeth all understanding.  You talk about joy - nothing but everlasting joy.

*** Let us take this Holiday season to help restore and help our lost - in sin - love ones that are here with us back to Christ.

*** Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, nether let it be afraid," John 14:27.

Yes to King Jesus - He has left us peace that no one can take away. Peace that passeth all understanding - because He is the prince of peace.

Let us take one day at a time in the lord - until we meet again -soon.

God Has Set Us Up To Be Blessed

Psalm 123:1,2,4,5

O LORD, thou has searched me, and know me.
Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.

For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.
Thou has beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.

*** My heavenly father, you made and created us and know all about us.  You know when we are up and doing well, and when we are not doing so well. You know our inner spirit - when we are sad and when we are happy - because our spirit is connected to yours. Because you know what we think before we think it - please give us inner peace, joy and happiness through your sweet Holy spirit.

***There is not a word that we have thought or began to say that you do not know about.  Please season our words with grace so that we may win some lost soul to Christ.
You have set us up to be blessed - because your grace and mercy have shut us in and attacked us with the blessings that you have ordained  for us in your word.

Psalm 139:13 - 15

For thou has possessed my reins; thou has covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

***Lord you have control over our life because you blessed us before we were conceived in our mother's womb - from the beginning.
Thank you Lord for making us in your image.  You could have made us another way but you loved us so much that you wanted us to look like you - so you could have that perfect relationship with us. We have that soul /spirit connection with you. You know us very well - continue to dwell in us.

Psalm 139:17 - 18 (added to lesson)

How precious also are thy thouthts unto me, O God; how great is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.

***Thank you Lord for thinking about us, your children, all the time.  All day and all night because you love us and want the very best for us.  Your mind is constantly on us; if you watch over the sparrow how much more will you watch over us.

Psalm 139: 24

And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

***Look at our heart Lord and see if  there is anything that should not be - please move it and restore it with your fruits of the spirt: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.

Continue to have that soul/spirit connection with God -until we meet again - soon.

Caring For Our Children

(Thought)

Questions Posed:  Should our children be left in the care of anyone during holiday seasons?

Should we as parents have the responsibility of  knowing the caretaker's background?

Should our children be given the same quality of attention, love and care with caretakers as they are with us?

The question is, "Parents do you know where your children are?"

Now days sometimes, children are asked, "Do you know where your parents are?"

The question changes sometimes.  Parents should always know where their children are and who they are with...

Psalm 113:9

He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the Lord.

***The bible tells us, Our children are a blessing to us.  God gives us children to make us happy, to care for and nurture them in a Godly manner.

***The bible also tells us not to provoke our children to anger: but to bring them up in a way pleasing to God.

***We  know that children are our future, the next generation and our caregivers in our latter years.

***By the grace of God the next generation - our children - is something we will live to see.

I will see you - until we meet again - soon.

Thanksgiving Day - November 25, 2010

(From The Minister's Heart)

** Christians know that every day is a day of Thanksgiving.  God has been so good to us, and every day He keeps on blessing us.

Psalm 34: 1 - 3

I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.

** Bless the Lord by thanking Him for all that He has done for us.  He watched over us from the time we were in our mother's womb until now.  Let us magnify the Lord by praising His holy name. Let us lift His name up together so the world will know that He is Lord of  lords and King of kings.

Psalm 34: 8

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.

** The Lord is so good to us - this is because His blessings are renewed every morning upon us.
When we think about his goodness and all He has done for us, our soul should shout, Thank you Lord for blessing us. Taste/try Him He will not let you down.

Thanksgiving is a national holiday set aside for families to thank the Lord for all the blessings and benefits He has bestowed upon us: Family, friends, love ones, food, clothes and shelter ...

Touched By An Angel

Psalm 91:4 - 6

He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

*God, our Father,  has committed himself to protect and shield us in times of trouble.  We can depend on our maker and creator to protect us from things that are, and things that are to come -seen and unforeseen danger.
God protects us as a mother hen protects her baby chicks - with his life.  He wraps his arm of protection around us as a hen wrap her feathers around her babies - for love, security and protection.
God watches over us when we are asleep and dead to the world. He is the only one that we can give our life to and expect him to guard it with his life. He showed us this by dying on the cross - so that we may live.

Psalm 91: 10 - 11

There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

**With the faith we have in God no evil can overtake us, or any disaster or disease come near his hidden place of protection he has for us.
God has given his angels - his angels- charge to keep us in all our ways - to keep us in perfect peace physically and mentally.

Let us trust him with all our being - mind, soul and body and he will do just what he said.

Until we meet again - soon.

Dialogue - Speak To Us Lord

Statement made by an employee, "It is hard at work:

Favortism is shown, promotions are made and I have been left out - with more work to do.

Esphesians 6: 5-10 - Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto christ;

Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing  the will of God from the heart;

With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

And ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

*Employees obey your supervisors/managers.  Do the best you can on the job. Work as if you are working for the Lord. Remember, the Lord will pay you for the things you have done.

Remember, the Lord is the one that enables you to get wealth, and he is the one that gives promotions.

*Supervisors/Managers always treat your employees the way you would want to be treated, with respect.

I Peter 3: 12 - 13 - For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: But the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?

**When we have done all we can to stand, continue to stand on the word of God.  There is nothing that happens on a job that God has no control over.

God asked Abraham, "Is anything too hard for God?

When you are having concerns in your life, ask yourself that question.

Thank you Lord so much for speaking to us.

Until we meet again - soon.

We Need Thee, O Lord

(From The Minister's Heart)

Psalm:  We need Thee, O Lord we need Thee. We need Thee ever hour of the day.
Oh bless us now our savior.  We come to Thee.

Sometimes our burdens get so heavy and weight us down.  Sometimes circumstances arises in our life
that we have no control over.  Sometimes the cares of this world is overbearing. Sometimes it seems as
though life is unfair.

What can we do but take it to the Lord in prayer. Oh what a change this will make in our life.

1.The bible tells us to cast our cares on the Lord, because He cared for us before we cared for him.

2. It also says, If we keep our mind on him, He will keep us in perfect peace.

3. The bible tells us to come to Jesus just as we are: burden, heavy laden and restless...

When the cares of this world get you down and sometime they will. Tell the Lord, I need Thee, O Lord
I need Thee, perfect savior. I need you right now.

The Lord is waiting to hear from you - until we meet again - soon

A Thousand Years With The Lord

Psalm 90:1-3

Lord, Thou has been our dwelling place in all generations.

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

Thou turnest man to destruction: and sayest, Return, ye children of men.

* Lord, before we were born into this world you made provisions for us to be blessed, not only us, but our ancestors, and our descendants.A blessing from generation to generation of  food, clothing and shelter.
You knew us before we were formed within our mother's womb. You have been here from the beginning.  This is why you can speak and man will live again, then you can speak and man will return to the dust from whence he came - demise.

Psalm 1:4, 10, 12

For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

*God, because you have been here from the beginning of creation, we know that you have seen generations come and generations go.  Some of us wil live to get seventy years old, and  some of us will even live to be eighty - our days are numbered.

Please teach us to use our days wisely, to glorify you, and to apply Godly wisdom in all situations.

When it is time for you to call - and it is time for us to answer.  We need you to meet us there.

Always be in the Master's service - Until we meet again - soon.

Blessed Children

Question asked by a young lady, " Why was I told what to do and no one else was told what to do?

Proverb: 20:5 - Counsel in the heart of a man is like deep water; but a man of understanding will draw it out.

Young adults, teens and pre-teens, the answers to questions you ask are in the wisdom and knowledge of your parents.  God has put it there to help, teach and support you in life.

Proverb: 20:7 - The just man walketh in his integrity: his chrildren are blessed after him.

You are blessed because your parents are saved and doing all they can to serve the Lord.  Wise parents teaches their beloved children the same things.  amen.

Proverb: 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Parents are commissioned by God to teach his/her children about the Lord before children reach his/her adulthood.  This is so they will know how to handle situations in a Godly way.

Deuteronomy: 6:5-7 - And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
And these words, which I command thee this day; shall be in thine heart:
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and  when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Another commission for parents, is to love God without any conditions and to teach their children this love.
God's word should be taught to children on a regular basis.  This is the same way God teaches parents on a regular and day by day basis.

God has Agopa love for us - unconditional love for us.  This is the reason he sent his only son, Jesus to die on the cross for us.

Thank you Lord for speaking to us - Until we meet again - soon.

My Beloved Sister

(From The Minister's Heart)

In Memory of my sister who demised this year in March, 2010.  My sister blessed her family, friends and the
community with what she had.She was a well-known person and loved by many. She touched many lives.

There are others who was a blessing to me during and after the demise of my beloved sister:

My family, friends and church members.

CCWriters and the administrative staff who's website is on this post, also Shannon milholland.

Harry Thomas, a professional home Repairman also, (901) 212-4986.

Psalm 23: 1- The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want.

He is my leader and my guide. He watches over me, protects me and provide for me. All we have to do is have faith, and ask for whatever we need in the name of Jesus.

Psalm 103:1- Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.
2-Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

Jesus, I will never forget what you done for me.  Jesus, I will never forget how you set me free. Never, no never.

Until me meet again - soon.

God Is Terrible

Psalm 66:1-  Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands:
2-  Sing forth the honor of his name: make his praise glorious.

All the earth needs to sing to the Lord. Let us sing with our heart, not only our mouth.  Let the world know how worthy he is to be praised.

Psalm 66:3 - Say unto God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall
thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

God work is so awesome that his enemies have to surrender.  This why all of us should worship him and
praise his holy name. He is so worthy that we must and should praise him.

Psalm 66:5 - Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

Many of us have seen the glorious things God has done. Some of us have seen miracles he has performed,
but none of us have seen the dry road through the sea he made for the Hebrew children to cross over.
Almighty God will continue to rule by his power forever.

I Call Her Grace

In 1997, I joined Thomas Chapel Church in Rossville, TN. Within six months of joining I started helping the Youth department. I was nominated to be the Youth department's President/Advisor.  I coordinated and chaired all the programs with the help of the department's team. I helped chair the women conferences.
I also went out on speaking engagements to surrounding area churches.

I am currently at Thomas Chapel Church preaching and occasionally teaching the word of God.

During the year 2007, I started helping at my family's home church and later became the Assistant Pastor.
Leadership has changed and I  am no longer the Assistant Pastor but my commitment to this church and my home church continues.

I Corinthians 15:16 - But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Galatians 6:18 - Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. A'men.

*** Parents -teens and pre-teen, I have written you three messages about my ministry- letting you know I have ran a race not because of who I am but because of the God that is within.

Young adults, you can be whatever you want to be in life by the graceof God.  Finish school, go to college, if not college, go to a trade school and be one of the best in life that you can be.  You know Jesus is the best at what he set his hands to do.  He gave it his all by dying on the cross for you and I, but he did not give away grace- he left it here for us.

Let us ask God for his mercy and his grace.    Until we meet again - soon.

Your Thoughts - and My Ways

During the spring of 2000, my outreach ministry started with mentoring pre-teen and teenage girls in my home.  This lasted about 2-3 years with assistance from my bible class pastor.

Subjects were: no drugs; no crime; no fornication.

Later that year I along with another Evangelist went on radio station WAVN, 1240 in Mississippi.
We spoke on different subjects.  Listeners could call into the radio station and dialogue with us.

Proverbs 16:3 - Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Proverbs 3:6 - In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Don't Make Your Move Too Soon

I was a member of Mt. Vernon Church in Rossville, TN all of my childhood.  It was after my adulthood that my missionary work began. I was an assistant Sunday School Teacher. An assistant and Public  Relations Secretary. I assisted in teaching New Student Orientation and Vacation Bible Classes. I was a member of the Pastor's Aide Group. I mentored the teen and pre-teen age girls there. I also made nursing home visits with another Evangelist.

Proverb 18:16 - A man's gift maketh room for him and bringeth him before great men.
