Who Comes First

John 9:1-2

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

***Jesus always put our needs before his own, as his life, death and resurrection. He lived, died and rose again so that we may have life, and have it more abundantly.

***He always healed others and performed miracles on the Sabbath day so that a blind man might receive his sight, disregarding the Jewish law. In healing this man God got the glory. Neither sinned this man or his parents.

***Jesus journey and travel on earth always bore record of God, his father.  In life our journey and travel should always reflect on what God would have us to do first in life, putting first things first.

***Sometimes others want us to put them first instead of putting God first in our life.  God says, He is a jealous God and no one should come before Him.

Let's continue to remember that God always come first.

Until we meet again - soon.

The Lord Is Standing By

(From The Minister's Heart)

Father, Father stand by me, O-h stand, stand by me, when the wind is high and the storms are raging, stand by us.

When the night hours has come, just before the break of day,  and we can't find my way; stand by us.

When we don't know the way and can't see the light, and things seem very deem and gray. All we can say is, "Please stand by us."

When trouble come upon us like a flood, and we fall down and can't get up - we need you to stand by us.

Sometimes situations seems hard than they actually are. Our mind goes back to how things should have been. We are asking you to, "Please stand by us."

Sometimes our struggle seem so hard to bear. We want to know that you are always there. Stand by us.

Are we greater than our struggle that feels like a war and a big force and a tuggle? We are no longer wondering. We know that you are standing by us.

Master, Can You Use Me?

Sermon I brought forth on April 22, 2012

John 14: 12-18

vs. 12, key verse says:

Verily, verily, I say unto  you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also: and greater works than these shall he do: because I go unto my Father.

For many years we have given our lives to our job and other things. Now it is time to give our life to God -so He can use us to help others. Jesus went around preaching and teaching the word of God. Healing the sick and raising the dead.

God tells us:

1. The harvest is right-but the laborers are few, according to Luke 10:2.  Also to go into the vineyard and work and He will pay us what we are due.

2. He also tells us to go into the hedges and highways and beckon them to come so that His house may be  filled; Luke 14:23.

3.  He says, "The poor-those in need- are going to be with us always. Saying, "Come unto Him all us that labour and are heavy laden, and He will give rest- unto our soul."

ONLY THE THINGS WE DO FOR CHRIST WILL LAST.

The work that God has called us to do may not be easy, but it must be done.

1. Some people may not want to hear us. Some may tells us, "It is not our business." Some may want to curse us out.

2. We must be led by the Holy Spirit to plant a see - the word of God - in their life. Someone else will water it and God will give the increase.

John 14: 13-18 says:

God will give us everything we need for His journey, if we just ask in His name. The Holy Spirit will be with us, talk to us and work through us when we do His work.

God knows without Him, we can do nothing; but through Him, we are more than conquerors.

Yes, God can use us, every day of our life.

Until we meet again - soon.

God Is A Spirit To Worship

God is a spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth. This is done starting from our youth.

Worship is an important part of our day and so is praise. When we continue to do this our blessings overflow and we will be amazed.

The time has come when praise is not a thing of the past, but something pleasing to God that will last.

David praised God with his Holy dance. Do this and we will receive grace from God in advance.

He is Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and end. On the cross He bore all of our sin.

He took all our cares and bore the shame. He overcame the victory when we were to blame.

In the middle of our problems give Him the praise. He will never leave or forsake us. This is what the bible says.

God has loved us with an everlasting love. This is not from earth but from our Father above.

From sun set to sun down God is too close for us to worry and fear, because He can be found.

Pray to Him in the morning, praise Him at noon. Worshipping  him in the middle of the night is never too soon.

Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord, God almighty. Keep on worshipping Him and Shaconah Glory we will see.

God is a Spirit to Worship.

Restoring Our Temple

John 2:13-17

And the Jew's passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to  Jerusalem.

And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:

And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changer's money, and overthrew the tables;

And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.

And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

*** Today's lesson let us know we should not  use the House of God -our father's house - for any other reason than intented: A house of prayer, praise and worship.

There are many commercial market places to be used to sell merchandise, instead of using our Father's home- His resting place.

Even though the Israelites met God in the mountains for worship; the Temple -  our church - is a spiritual place we meet Him now for prayer, praise and worship.

Let's learn also to keep our bodily temple restored - our mind, soul and body- guarded from the things of this perverse generation.

Until we meet again - soon.

You alone, are God

(From The Minister's Heart)

You alone, are God. Thank you Lord for saving a sinner like me.  You brought me out of darkness years ago, by turning on your marvelous light in my life, and now I can see.

Out of all the things we go through today, your grace and mercy keep on bringing us out.  We know that,
"You alone, are God."

Only on you I can depend, when all I have had is short comings and there is no end.

I want to give you the Glory and the praise for the rest of my life, some were troubled days. "You alone, are God.

Bless your name, our Holy Saviour. Today and tomorrow all we can see is bountiful favours. You alone, are God.

When the journey we travel seem so long and we are overcome with fear , let us know that you are always near.

Help us to get it right, because there is no other but Jesus, the Christ. You alone, are God.

You, only You alone, are God.

A Risen Body

John 20:3-10

Before the crucifixion of Jesus, he had told his disciples that he was going to be crucified and he would be risen from the dead. Out all of the suffering that Jesus went through before crucifixion; it seemed impossible for his disciples to see the spiritual side of the situation.

They went to the sepulchre - tomb- looking for his body. To their amazement no body was there. They did  not understand that he would be risen."

The Holy Spirit resides in all born again believers. When a flood rises up against us, that same spirt rises up to protect, keep and save us from the seen and unseen danger.

The risen Christ is inside of us today. Let him show up, show out and continue to be our guide.

Until we meet again - soon.

Look Where He Brought Us From

What matters the most to us today?  Is it things that we can not have, problems that we can not solve, or

is it knowing that we are blessed to be among the living?

It is very good sometimes to just sit and think about how far the Lord have brought us from.  He brought us

out of darkness into the marvelous light.

No one knew the trouble we saw, no none knew our sorrow.  People just did not know, the times that we

were smiling, to us, seemed to be one of the worst days of our life.

Can we only dream of being more happier than we ever image, or is this just a fantacy.

When we look around and see people, things and time changing every day, this makes me want to be

closer to the Lord.  Every day I want to show Him my love.

It is very good sometimes to just sit and think how far the Lord have brought us from. He predestined us to

be here today, before we were in our mother's womb. His will was to protect, provide and be an eternal

father to us.  I realize that every day is a day of thanksgiving.

Oh how good it is to just sit and think about  how far the Lord have brought us from.

Jesus Dropped The Charges In Our Life

John 18:28

Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early: and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover;

John 33-37

Jesus was marched from judgment hall, to judgment hall. None could legally pronounce a death sentence on him.
After turning him over to Pilate, He asked Jesus many questions to find out why accusations were made against him. He found no fault in him.

Today, if we were charged with a matter, would a judge be able to say, "I find no fault in this person. The case is dismissed.

Out of all accusations made against us in our life time, Jesus has dropped the charges and said, "Case dismissed.

Lets continue to let Jesus bear our charges on the cross.

Until we meet again - soon.
