Born To Lead

One must first be a follower before he/she can truly lead. Understanding, knowledge and wisdom comes from following a leader. Be an example of a true follower inorder to be a good leader.

Mark 9:2-4

And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.

And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.

***Jesus took Peter, James and John away from the rest of the people, even his other disciples to meet with other Gody leaders. He transfigured himself  into a Godly figure clothed in white. Letting them know he was not only Jesus, but God in the spirit.

*** Jesus as God let his three beloved disciples know that at his beckon call  Elias and Moses would rise up in the spirit and talk with him at his pleasure.

Mark 9:7-9

And there was a clould that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.

And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

***Many times children in the house wonder who the real leader is mother or father; because both tell us to obey as they tell/give us things to do.

***There should not be any doubt in a child's mind of who the head of the household is; who the leader is, and who they should obey. Our children should not be confused by this.

***Private discussions within the family should not be told to anyone but God. The head leader of us all.

A Christian Leadership class I took says :

An effective Christian leader is a person who gets the right things done:

by the right people

at the right time

and at the right place.

Let Jesus lead us all the way from earth to glory.

Until we meet again - soon.
