Wise Leaders To Follow

Judges 7:2-4

And the Lord said unto Gideon,
The people that are with thee are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hands, lest Israel vaunt themselves against me, saying, Mine own hand hath saved me.

When the Israelites turned back to idol worship God allowed them to be subject to the Midianites notorious treatment. The children of Israel cried to the Lord and He heard them.

God allowed Gideon and the Israelites warriors of three hundred men to win the battle over the Midianites.
Gideon wanted sufficient manpower of about thirty-two thousand men of war. God narrowed it down to three hundred men because He did not want the Israelites to boast and say, "The glory of the victory belonged to them instead of to God.

***When we go through trials and testes in life, God should always be given the glory of the victory from the beginning, because the battle was not our's it belonged to the Lord. We were in the battle but He took us through it.

We must learn to stand back and see the salvation of the Lord. Stand still and see His wonderful works.
Whatever situations occur in our life, we must allows remember God knows the outcome; because He is the author and finisher of our faith; and He has already prepared the victory for us.

In choosing a leader lets continue to choose a wise and God given one to follow.

Until we meet again - soon.
