Fit To Lead

In leading others to Christ, we should ask God for wisdom and knowledge to guide his people, as Solomon did in his day, when he was King. For this, his asking, God made him the wisest man during his life time.
He also gave him treasures, gold and silver.

God wish that none of his children perish, but that we may be saved and have everlasting life through his son, Jesus Christ.

I Timothy 4:10-14

For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.

These things command and teach.

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity,
spirit, in faith, in purity.

Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.

Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy , with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.

***We are going to suffer persecution when we do the work of God, our Lord and Saviour. Jesus went through all types of reproaches in doing the work of God. He was tempted in all ways but He did not sin.

*** We, as leaders, should commit ourselves to studying, preaching and teaching the word of God. The bible tells us to stir up the gift that is within us. God said, "Our gift  will make room for us." In return, lets use the gift God has blessed us with to be a blessing to others until he returns.

***We should always be apt and prepared to preach and teach the word of God when the occasion arises.
Meaning to be instant in and out of season, according to he bible.

***It does not matter what is going on with us and others, we should always preach the true word of God.
We can not affford to add or take away from his word. God said, "If we do that, He will add plagues to our life and take our name out of the Book of Life.

Maybe at first preaching was a calling on our life, later we started to want to help others. Now, I am learning how to give myself so God can use me, in spite of my circumstances.

We do want to make it to heaven. We want to make it in. We want to be free from sin. We want to hear him say, "Well done."

Until we meet again - soon.
